sometimes, but sometimes i cri

Yeah

I can't help it
the music composition on this one is fucking insane

and people forgot about them

No they didn't. The classic lineup of SDRE did as much to determine the sound of modern radio rock as the Foo Fighters or the Pixies. In some circles this band means as much to people as Pavement. Stop this fucking meme please.

What is this

How It Feels to Be Something On is better

album

sunny day real estate

This

Replace "patrician" with the American Football s/t.

In circles a shit
everything else is good
like How it feels to be something on better, less whiny but I guess that the appeal of SDRE

this

self-titled is amazing though

Pink one is the best, guys.

Falls off in the second half

>in circles a shit
best song
get off board

8, J'Nuh, and Rodeo Jones are some of the best they ever recorded.

>In circles a shit
A new day, a new hot opinion

8 and Rodeo Jones were definitely better re-recorded but I don't really care for the rest

Nah, the second half is better than the first.

How It Feels and especially Rising Tide are a little too overwrought. LP2 is more off the cuff, the songs and riffs are oddly structured because they just banged it out quickly. That spontaneity makes it their most interesting album.

PITIFUL

BOY

Friday through 5/4 is as strong an opening as Seven through Round was, and while Rising Tide and most of The Fire Theft is certainly too sugary for me I think How it Feels became my favorite after listening to Return of the Frog Queen and not expecting it to be strictly emo in any sense.

Seven thru Song About An Angel is totally one of the most solid streaks ever, but I find Round to be Diary's one dud and I usually skip it.

I haven't listened to Frog Queen in like 8 years, now I'm inspired to revisit it.

what meme? they are totally forgotten
nobody plays them
nobody talks about them

47 is the best song on diary

every
shining
time
you
arrive

not bad, though

Drop your favorite song from each of their LPs:

>Song About an Angel
>Red Elephant
>The Prophet
>Killed by an Angel

>Seven
I can't help it. The chorus and chord progression is amazing and timeless

>Theo motherfucking B
Apart from the legendary bass riff, it mixes a lot of emotions through-out the song

>Every Shining Time You Arrive
it is not the best in the album, but this is a personal fav

>Rain song
hands down, one of their best songs

bonus:
>Uncle Mountain

>48
>8
>The Prophet

>48, The Blankets Were The Stairs

>Red Elephant, Iscarabaid

>Pillars, 100 Million

>One, The Ocean

This band is truly amazing. My favourite is Diary, but sometimes it can be HIFTBSO, the other albums are also great.

47 is such an underrated track

47
Red Elephant
Pillars
Rain Song

Red Elephant is by far my favorite song of theirs, but Diary is my favorite album start to finish.

It's not like you missed The Fire Theft, right?
