I have seen it over and over on reddit and on facebook.
People get very upset at the use of the word cuck for some reason. Some claiming it doesn't even make sense as an insult.

I think it is because most pure leftist get off on being cucked and don't think it is a bad thing and are upset at it being used in a negative way.
It can be used as an insult or it can be used as a term of humiliation. Some cucks prefer the humiliation, that is why they are cucks. No, that is not the only mindset, but it is certainly one of the more noted reasons.
As for anyone taking it as an insult, it should be taken as it is delivered. Someone I know can call me an asshole and we laugh about it but someone else can call me an asshole and there will be a different outcome to be sure.

I totally agree with you user, as to the ORIGINAL meaning of the word, but like so many words in history, this one is taking on a new meanings. Over time, it will be a noun, a verb, an adjective, etc.
