With so many millions of albums around do the majority of people who are into music still think this is the best one ever made?

It’s the Titanic of albums
Their follow-up to OK Computer, Kid A, is the greatest album ever made.
Personally, Mr Yorkes voice gets ever so slightly sour with repeated listens, but the aesthetic is clear and unique albeit a little subtle, there really isn't a bad song (omit fitter happier for the less open minded), its sonically diverse, lyrically...don't care enough about an album called "OK computer" to care.. Decent ass album. Just be happy it's not something that you outright hate...or anybody outright hates.
Maybe it's on the top not because it's the best, but the least hateable?
but nobody actually likes titanic anymore, people still like OKC
It's not even rated the highest, it just has the most ratings.
Everything in It's right place has below average electronic effects, treefingers is an average ambient track, optimistic and idioteque have very similar ear grading vocal performances...oh, and Kid A would be better if it was more fleshed out. Not perfect
bait
it really is op.
nope.
Apparently the majority do still, as it's either first or second alongside Dark Side of the Moon. I think both albums are good, and I understand why they're revered, but not my personal favorite albums of all time.
I've listened to it so many times that I'm numb to it but I still would recommend it to a music novice in a heartbeat.
so I guess yes.
i can get behind radiohead more so than behind pink floyd, i still think that these albums are far from top 40 though no matter what way you look at it. they are just more accessible and easier than most rock.

OKC ages well, but Kid A ages terribly

That's how most weight rankings work retard. If an album were to have 10 ratings and 5 stars it wouldn't mean shit. In most cases the more ratings the more chance of a lower score. Look at the 3 jazz albums. Kind Of Blue has less rank scorr than Black Saint and Love Supreme but more ratings. Since more people have listened to KOB, there is more of a chance that people that don't "get it" would rate it. Look at the modern ratings. When new albums are first released they can place pretty high but with more ratings many end up in the 3.50-3.70.
And p4k and besteveralbums.com
I don't think that the majority of people who are into music have ever thought that OK Computer was the best album ever made.
So they probably think that they are into music
On BestEverAlbums, there are 4 Radiohead albums in the top 20.
>more accessible and easier than most rock.
they’re honestly the greatest band of all time desu
and okc is 1st
I agree user
it's all about exposure. It's literally one of the very first "alternative" albums one dives in, of course it's gonna have so many high ratings. Is it the best album of all time? fuck no. Is it the most popular album that is also praised by indie/underground media magazines? yes
There must be a reason for that right? Why aren't other indie albums praised as much if they are really that much better? It's not like people cannot listen to them, everyone has the internet now.
in rainbows is better imo
because everyone is a pleb except for us patricians
