I think it may be best to let emo die as much as I hate saying that. Most emo music nowadays is just people trying to add more modern elements to emo and it's all shit.just look at how mediocre falloutboy's mania has been, how pop centric death of a bachelor was, how pop blurry face was. And the greatest emo band to ever exist has been dead since 2012. Unless somebody starts making some good teir emo music the genre needs to be left alone

i tried to listen to some good "noise rock" albums made this year or last year and those that seemed well received .... were fucking post-hardcore in disguise: make up on a pig. sure the can "expand their sound" by pasting great bits of actually cool , interesting genres like post punk and noise or make a clever post critical revisit of more iconic genres like grunge or shoegaze but ultimately there is a core of shit in their output and its tthat fucking post hardcore thing. the fucking voice mainly and their hardon for technicality and ... there is something lame about their song structure too even if they want to get loose with it they just dont have it. fuck em. i want some good new noise rock .
