Isn't it harmful to gender liberation that you're still associating blue with boys and pink with girls? If gender is a social construct and we're being oppressed by conforming, then shouldn't we be trying to break away from those kinds of stereotypes? This is the great divide that people do not want discussed.
Feminism holds as a tenant that gender is a construct. Therefore they can justify attacking a "patriarchy" and anything masculine can be demonized.
However the trans gender concept can not exist if gender itself is socially programmed. If gender is natural, then so are gender traits, otherwise gender would mean absolutely nothing and it wouldn't exist. You can't be trans gender unless you define certain traits to be gendered, and since sex and other physical traits are eliminated, that leaves only behavior, thoughts, emotions, etc.
Trans gender people believe as much or more than anyone in things like blue for boys and pink for girls. They believe in boys playing with cars and girls with dolls. They believe in femininity being soft and nurturing and masculinity being tough and bold.
Because a trans person knows more than anyone they can't get those ideas out of their head even when their body doesn't fit them. Trans gender proves Feminism is a lie. Which is why feminists hate trans gender people. But neither side is strong enough to wage war against the other, so they generally ignore this major philosophical difference.
But it does come out. If you look back, the biggest detractors and opponents of Caitlyn Jenner were feminists. Declaring a man can't identify as a woman, a woman has to have suffered, and someone with a man's body has never suffered under the "patriarchy". They call trans men sell-outs or traitors who have taken on the claim to masculinity to shield themselves from the patriarchy. Either way they reject and hate trans people. For exactly what you say.
Trans proves gender traits are instinctual, psychological, not lies by men used to oppress women.
