As an abstract piece on its own it stands strong. It's riotous with features of sorrow and very little order. I see a failing power structure in it being taken over by the younger but still inexperienced conquerors.

On purely sales focused criteria, it's too hectic to compete with minimalist abstract which is much more popular today, and lacks cool colourings, namely blues, which would suit a collection which featured only the last century or so.

Personally, I love it. It voices a lot of butchery and societal concern.

My teacher, who is a seasoned artist (40+ years painting, owning studios) and is a concrete (recreations of pictures) artist, says herself that abstract art is harder than concrete art. The difficulty lies in balancing things properly, using color correctly, basically stopping before the line where it goes to shit.
