I'm doing it to upgrade my cpu. And in the process discovered I need a new motherboard if I'm gonna actually upgrade.
So I did. I'm waiting on that to arrive too, and will show up before the ram does.
My actual upgrade will b from a Pentium, to an i7x33.
It's like going from an egg to fully evolved form.
Everything I render or export will b way.way.quicker.
The ONLY issue I'll have is, my computer was updated to win10 for free in that upgrade for free window.
Wen u change the mobo, Microsoft flags it as a new machine and is not the machine eligible for the updated10. There's a work around I'm looking into.

In short, assuming Pentium means single core CPU. Couldn't find specs on i7x33. But my i7-2600 from about five years ago runs quad core 3.4GHz with 8GB of ram. (No idea the DDR, as I don't know how to check it without opening up my case)

Took me a moment to find my GPU specs. Knew the interwebs number was off. As it claims 1GB DDR3 VRAM. I have 2!
(Not the best card, but it plays just about anything on decent graphics.)

6 core, but what speed? As the only thing multiple cores are good for, is multitasking. (Which I have to assume coders are considering nowadays when building their programs. But some older ones only run on a single core. Like Starcraft 2. Kinda hope they fixed that one....)

good thing about the chromus is that we don't need to eat for survival. if we do eat it wouldn't provide any type of sustenance, but hey good tasting food is good tasting food~!

But the PeeCee ain't goin' nowhere. PC master race gamers will always want a strong rig to play their games. And nothing else can do that quite like a dedicated PeeCee with proper cooling system.
