I typed out this long response to a thread recently about the morality of having children when older..

I found it to be a reasonable topic.. certainly within the scope of this board which routinely tolerate BBC threads..

To avoid falling into nihilistic despair I will post the reply I typed out only to find the thread was gone when I tried to post it.. Mods here are cunts.

Some genetic reason suggest older conceiving parents can produce health deficiencies in their offspring.

I was conceived by older parents. father was 43 mother 40.

I am 52 and while I lived my life with excellent health I am not experiencing some struggles with joints, muscles vision and hearing.

I am not really sure these aren't the normal over 50 problems but I am aware of the suggestion older parents are using degraded DNA when conceiving .

the other issue is the energy older parents will have to raise children.

At my age I consider how my parents may have felt when I was 10. I couldn't imagine having to hand young children the way I feel now... maybe that's why my parents drank.

So unless you are really very well off financially which will help offset the physical challenges I think its unwise.and inconsiderate to subject children to life with older parents.

On the plus side having had parents who were older and growing up around their elders too I have a sense of the way people thought and acted back in the early 20th century.. and yes it creates in me a strong disdain for present day humanity.

Honestly I just see it as babies first philosophy. I think it's pretty natural to have a nihilistic phase if you start exploring philosophy, but you should grow out of it by age 17 or else you're just a faggot. It's like the fedora atheism or edgy anarchism of existentialism. When you first find it you think you're super deep and unlocked the meaning of life but really it's just immature.

But like I said, I think it's a necessary phase if you explore existentialism, so I try not to look down on anyone still in it. I just see it as very immature and not well thought out.

It's an ideology similar to the Marxists that can be weaponized.

Not that the ideals are similar, but the end result to have people in the streets protesting and rioting as a weapon.

I used to call myself a Nihilist, my good friend also does as well. He even recently admitted until I red-pilled him about Ferguson being an artificial triggered uprising caused by soros, he thought it was justified and the people within had every reason to tear the town down. He also said dawning a mask and hoody, and helping them tear down the oppressive police regime would have been good.

Once redpilled now, he admits they burned down their own city for a criminal. And if you protest and riot, you should be treated like a criminal. And for people who let globalists like Soros manipulate them I hope they do get detained and brutalized by police.

It's not a negative viewpoint it'd an understanding of reality and the true nature of existence since it is a fact that as far as we know there is no meaning to it whatsoever.

It's not a negative viewpoint in your mind perse but it's effects are very negative on a person. It by definition doesn't allow you to care about the future after you're dead. Nihilist are complete demoralized yo resist anything happening to their society because they don't think past their own life span. There's no point to worrying about what happens after you're dead at all if you're a true nihilist, and those effects are devestating. It's an incredibly narrow view point because it shrinks your ability to care to within your own lifespan

The meaning of the universe is probably the most subjective topic you could ever think of. The word objective or fact doesn't belong in the topic at all.

I don't think secular humanism is nihilistic because it takes the advancement of humans as meaning. It's more utilitarian if anything, but it has a goal and a purpose in its philosophy. Nihilism is there being no goal or purpose what so ever.
