That's what I wanted, pop songs that are gay. Thanks.
listened to this as a kid and heard it again years ago, it gave me this really nostalgic feel, which i loved, but the nostalgia is gone now.

Fucking scum
i just like songs about boys
who is this penis genius?
Music isn't purely about the sonic quality of it, and if you remove all of the context from every piece of music ever created, things would get boring very quickly.
You shouldn't like an artist *purely* because of their sexuality, but it can be a factor for why something feels special or unique to a person. The music by B-52s would feel like generic hypersexualised boy-girl group pastiche if it weren't for the fact that most of the group is gay.
It literally doesn't matter, listening to music based on identity is how things get stale.
But there are two extremes here. Listening to music without understanding anything about an artist, their process, or the context which birthed that piece of music is also stale. I literally just said that you shouldn't listen to an artist *purely* because of their sexuality, but if it's a matter of things getting stale, imagine listening to music exclusively with no concepts or context outside of what you're listening to. It would get maddeningly stale.
