It was awful. I'm a diehard SW fan and have grown up with the films/games/books/figures and this movie was absolute trash. There were some cool visuals but the story was all over the place and any time something meaningful happens it immediately gets ruined by awkward one liners or pointless plot devices.

I have a mind-blank from the time after Kylo and Rey have the fight on Snoke's ship and her appearing with Chewy in the Falcon.
I guess the Falcon must have been aboard Snoke's ship. They said she escaped in Snoke's escape pod so what, she turned it around, reboarded, grabbed the falcon and escaped again? A little far fetched. Maybe I forgot something too
It's easy enough to piece together something of what happened, but it just seems like poor editing.
Rey woke up first, or was not knocked unconscious like kylo was when the lightsaber exploded. Hux wakes kylo up to find rey is already gone. The falcon was not on snoke's ship... rey took an escape pod from the falcon and landed that on snoke's ship. She musta called chewie to pick her up.

Me too. The first half was a little slow, But around the time they mutiny, just got better from there in my opinion. The lead up had some lame jokes and "meh" moments with the ones I did find interesting like Rey's look within and her conversations with Kylo. I can understand people's greivances and there was some lite* propaganda but the thing with Rey's parents being nothing was the true bombshell since that wasn't at all what people expected, the movie itself was beautifully shot and the story wasn't as corny or hard to follow in the second half. It had some really cool sequences too, despite a couple of plot points I can get why people aren't fans of. Overall though, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Well it was never stated how much you could manipulate the world with the force.
He projected himself onto the planet where Kylo Ren is attacking the rebels and lured him in to fight him, all so he could by the rebels more time to escape, but to also give them hope
You could say that this took a lot out of him, using so much power to project an image of himself on another world, or he knew that by doing all this, there would have to be balance and in order for there to be balance he would have to sacrifice himself.
After he reappears back onto his planet he is very exhausted and shaking and simply vanishes like Obi Wan did when he died.

Nothing of consequence happens in this movie. The characters have no archs, they're in the same place by the end of the film as they were in the previous film.
Star Wars is about a farm boy who makes a decision to learn the ways of the Force in order to topple an oppressive regime all the while, he has to get powerful enough to face off against his patriarch. Eventually he ends up battling himself in an internal battle between good and evil. He ultimately chooses the Light and in doing so he saves his father's soul.
Disney Star Wars is about a girl who discovers she has powers. She's a good guy so....she goes out and fights a bad guy. Rey is good, because. Kylo is evil, because. Finn is comedic relief. Poe is a background character - there's lots of background characters who are of no consequence to the story. First Order vs Resistance: There is no reason for them to fight. Neither of them are in power. The Galactic Republic exists and carries on while these two groups pick each other off, inconsequential. In the final episode (part 9) Rey defeats Kylo and the Resistance defeats the Order. No consequence if they were to lose though because there is no reason established for them to fight. Yes, the Order had that death star but why then the Republic Fleet doesn't get involved.....cause plot hole?
And worst of all: The original and prequel trilogies both had love stories intertwined in the adventure.
This trilogy has no such thing. Yeah, there's flirting here and there but in the 3rd film, Rey isn't going to end up with neither Finn or Kylo Ren. She has no internal struggle of fighting against the man she loves or having to choose between her love for Finn and the Jedi code...etc. It's so....safe and vanilla under Disney.
Oh, and the whole "I'm gonna burn this tree" shit when the books were stashed on the falcon...

Set and props also looked plastic and low quality. Plot was dumb. Writing was shit "chrome dome?!" Are you fucking kidding me? About as good as a prequel. If you actually liked this movie you're autistic and unable to actually dissect a movie. Oh yeah, and all the fucking shit CGI aliens can fuck right off.
