Azúcar (en árabe, sookar). Llega al español procedente del árabe hispano assúkar y del árabe clásico sukkar. Este término viene a su vez del griego σάkχαρι (sákchari), que procede del pelvi (forma escrita del persa) šakar, que tiene su origen en el término sánscrito sarkarā. Casi nada.
Guitarra (en árabe, qithara). También llega al español gracias al árabe, qīṯārah, que la heredó del arameo, qipārā, que a su vez procedía del griego kιθάρα, kithára, que era una cítara.
Aceite (en árabe, zayt). Viene del árabe hispano azzáyt y del clásico azzayt, procedente a su vez del arameo zaytā.
Alacrán (en árabe, aqrab). Del árabe hispano al'aqrab y del clásico 'aqrab.
Hasta (en árabe, hata). La palabra española procede del árabe hispano hattá, influido a su vez, según cuenta la RAE, por el latín ad ista, que significa "hasta eso".
