The idea for a decentralized currency is excellent but if anything, the rise in value has proven that bitcoin is a terrible idea for a currency, without inflation, and a finite supply it's never going to be stable enough to use as a currency, only as a pyramid scheme and when people realize this, which I expect to be soon there's going to be a crash, not to a lower amount, but to $0.
