Why is all music other than classical so fucking repetitive? There's always at least one instrument that's basically just looping 2 seconds the entire duration of the song. I can't even listen to anything other than classical since I got into classical a few years ago. This is how music is done:

I think you're confusing economy of material with repetition.
Compared to most other genres the amount of repetition is incredibly low.
There are exceptions like minimalism where its all repetition with subtle changes, and there are pieces where economy of material is taken to the extreme - Beethoven's 5th symphony for example, but its pretty rare to have a large amount of exact repetition.
Compare that to pop music where they repeat the same chorus 3 times every song and you'll see Classical has a relatively low amount of exact repetition.
Then you have stuff like this where there is exactly 0 repetition:
