The point of these threads is to encourage people to look for new and interesting music. We do this by listening to and ideally discussing albums we've never heard before. Many of us already listen to new music daily, these people are in it to venture "out of their comfort zone" by listening to albums they otherwise wouldn't have, or just to have a good time.
>Alright, so for your picture we're going to throw a bit of dirt on your face >you know, make you look a bit more rugged like your music hahaha >no Ben, we won't get it in your beard, don't worry

>The Deviants - Ptooff! (1967)
Those who called this primitive are onto something. It's almost as if they showed up to the studio with no ideas. And it shows in how much the (frankly inconsistent) sound varies from track to track. I'm not the guy whose opinions you want to listen to about all things punk, but the attitude here edges closer toward "don't care" than "unhinged," so songs like "Nothing Man" are not worth the time to listen as far as I'm concerned. Like others point out, some moments, like clear highlight "Garbage" hint at some more sophisticated musique concrete elements, it's relatively less competent or exploratory than much else at the time. 4.5/10

Sup nerds, just want to check in and let you know I still live and read your threads every now and then even if I don't post.
Started working on my bachelor's thesis this week, generating ideas and what not. With some luck I might be able to do some EEG brain activity scans, which would be fun as fuck. I didn't know we had equipment for that at our university, and didn't know how to apply it to I/O-psychology, but my teacher actually suggested I use it while doing the experiment I had planned. This is gonna be great.
Nice meme. Still considering dropping off psychology programme next year and applying to engineering like a basic bitch, but I haven't really decided yet.
PS STEMfags are the worst, still.

>STEMfags are the worst >wants to become an engineer I don't think you have enough brain cells to do any sort of engineering.
Jack Green
STEMfag =/= anyone in a STEM field, dipshit.
Samuel Hill
90% of people you will deal with every day will be a STEMfag. Their favorite TV show will be Rick and Morty and they will all listen to corny synthwave.
Grayson Johnson
Those are called "normies" and they infiltrate literally every single arena of life, dingleberry.
