This is a pretty bad scenario for Assad and the SAA. The motherfucking ISIS defeating the moderate headchoppers... boy, that wouldn't paint a very nice picture about the Syrian government.
Maybe this is why the SAA is preparing for another offensive at Aleppo. They either execute the rebels with this move before the ISIS does or they will never wash away the embarrassment.

I hope that the USA will resupply the New Syrian Army.
Last time they got btfo by a single Suicide Car bomber, They saw the truck coming from miles away but had no defence. No large wall to protect their base or heavy weapons to take out the car.
If the USA would properly resupplie the NSA, this would boost moral.
Normally I am not a fan of USA funding rebels since they often fight Assad or walk over to ISIS or other extremist rebel groups.
The NSA members had a long backround check. But with lack of supplies they might just leave.
The NSA is not allowed to engage with the SAA, or the FSA, only ISIS. Which in my opinion makes them on of the better grousp ( Saa on number 1 ofcourse)
If they would get resupplied they can hold their positions and thus secure the Jorda/ Iraq/ Syria border.
Also they might be able to move up and capture a large part of ISIS area. Pic related.
