Ha. That was just about the worst part of that game. If you don't mash the button fast enough to escape, you get punished by having to hear his stupid speech again.
In fact, almost every character was a douchebag. Except for the natives, the CIA guy and maybe the German guy. When Brody breaks up with his girl so he can stay on the island to murder mercenaries and play hero because has become one with the native spirit and boinked that priestess bitch... WHAT THE FUCK!? Which button makes me not be a douche?
On the plus side, the island looked really nice. Also it seemed realistic to be racing down a dirt road in a rusty old car listening to that ukulele girl song and then you hit a rock and go careening down the mountain side and crash into a tree and damn near die.
Overall not a keeper but I finished it anyway.
