Which songs are decent, and what did you find uninteresting about it. Taxman is one of the Beatles angriest politically motivated lyrical efforts. and I really enjoy the baroque instrumentation of songs like Eleanor Rigby and For No One. I'm Only Sleeping is really interesting due to the double guitar track, also has one of the first instances of backmasking in pop music. Love You To was an early example of Indian music mixed with western pop. Here, There, and Everywhere, is simple yet beautiful pop perfection. I can understand disliking Yellow Submarine, but I like the zany sound effects made of random household items, reminiscent of Pet Sounds. She Said She Said has, in my opinion, some of the best drumming on any Beatles track. Also lyrically that sense of hopelessness and trippiness is really cool. I can see why it may not appeal to some but I enjoy the old timey vaudeville sound of Good Day sunshine. And Your Bird Can Sing has a really nice dual guitar melody that I think sounds great. I really enjoy trying to interpret the cryptic lyrics. Also it and Doctor Robert were extremely influential to the Power Pop sound of bands like Big Star. The dissonant chords of I want to Tell You are very fitting with the lyrics about frustration. It might not be the most technically complex but I enjoy Harrison's vocals especially on lines like I could wait forever I’ve got time. Tomorrow Never Knows is possibly the best song and one of my favorite songs ever. A great example of an early psychedelic song and one of the Beatles most experimental and sonically innovative songs. I really like the Stockhausen influenced tape loops, and the nice drone along with the almost sinister sounding laughter. Lyrically it’s great as well and a true masterpiece.
