Feminism is the most anti-female movement I can think of, excluding Islam. It teaches women to disregard the traditional roles that have held society together since the beginning of civilizations, roles they used to (and should) take pride in. And now, it has crept into every facet of society. If feminists really cared about women, they would embrace their traditional role as caretaker. It's clear that there is no more equality to be gained, it's just about rioting for the sake of rioting and an excuse to go out topless. My liberal San Francisco parents are horrified when I tell them that I would love to be a stay-at-home mother. "How oppressive!" Seriously? Why would ANY woman take a 40 hour work week over staying at home doing easy chores and taking care of their own goddamn children. Now people just get rich and hire a Mexican nanny to raise their children and speak to them only in Spanish, I see it in the San Francisco bay area all the time and I'm sure it happens elsewhere. These children will grow up barely knowing their own mothers, I'd say that is a form of neglect.

That's the end of my rant, but here's the question: How do we turn our womyn back into women? If we don't do it soon, our societies will collapse beyond repair. Is there anything that we can do as individuals to help people accept and enjoy their traditional roles in society or is the media too powerful?

1) Remove the welfare state
2) Remove state funded child support
3) Remove state funded birth control
4) Remove gender/race quotas in the workplace which favor women (yes, these do exist)

The housewife was a brief fleeting phenomenon of the early-mid-20th century that was eviscerated by globalised capitalism and modern technology. Women have always worked. Of course, that's not to say the modern third wave feminists have it right, they're a bunch of delusional harpies. Some gender roles are fine and natural, but the rigid model of the 20th century Western world was hardly perfect, no matter what rosy nostalgia people might have. People won't go back to those "traditional roles" because they often sucked, for both men and women.

I don't know what happened over the last 5-10 years but it seems the question of traditional roles has flared up again for some reason. Before that we seemed to be moving towards a decent level of equality between men and women.

I'm a woman and to be perfectly honest with you I completely agree with what you said. Women should ensure good education for her children and to take care after her family, while men should make sure the family economy is stable and working correctly, as well as, if necessary, contribute to the child's education.
