Is it too late to go to university at 23

is it too late to go to university at 23

the guy who made spongebob went to art college at the age of 39 or something.

no

My mum did her two degrees when she was 45.

Stop this stupid fuckin meme about thinking your life is over because of some minor incovenience in your 20s.

it feels too late for me bros

I cant bring myself to sit in a class with 18 year olds

my friends who all went through university now all have good careers, cars, houses...

Nope, there's a woman in my math class who's old enough to be my grandma.

I sure hope not. I'm back in at 36 after failing out my first time from partying too much. So if it's too late for you, I must really be fucked. I have faith in both of us though OP. :^)

Nope
>tfw getting a doctorate in my mid 30s

There's a 27 y/o in my classes that only started now. Also you can't really tell an age difference between 20+ anyway so most people at your university will look at old as you.

>not wanting to see slutty college girls again

you guys are 30s so its not as bad as a 20 something going to uni now...

kek where do you think we are

so I will finish my degree at 26 or 27...

do employers care about age much

I graduated at 29; my seminars more often than not had people older than myself, as well. Age shouldn't matter as long as you are motivated enough.

It really, honestly does not matter. You have to get out of that mindset. Do what you want to do and don't let the things that have no meaningful effect on your life weigh down on you.

No, I've spent three years studying to qualify for engineering and I'm turning 22 this year.
I'm gonna get accepted no matter what since the classes are never filled

The best thing that you could do is to get an education in a field where there's a lack of educated employees. the you should also of course enjoy the work you do

This. There's that guy who's 30 with a kid, was teaching in middle school before. Wouldn't have given him more than 25.
On the other hand it can really depend on the person. But yeah you shouldn't care too much about the other students. I've had retired people in UG in my math classes.

that's actually a great time to go.

99% of the people who were 23 when they entered with me graduated on time. Overall there was a huge dropout rate with all the students in my program. Although I don't regret going to uni when I did, I think that I would've done better had I gone when I was a little more mature rather than 18 years old.

they will care about experience

you will find work while studying if you look out for it, so no probs there

I'm 24 and I look like or maybe younger than my 19-21yo classmates. Being the "baby" back then wasn't that bad after all.
I'm not even the older though, there are some that drooped it before and a man in his 40s.

I'm one of the youngest lads in all my classes at 20 yrs old, seriously man just make sure to enroll at evening classes if you want to be with more people of your age.
Something I've noticed is that most 18 yrs old are not prepared for the responsibility of college, I think is wiser to start later than earlier in these kind of things.

No, but time is precious. Don't dick around when you're there

>minor incovenience in your 20s.
I've just spent the past 790 days doing nothing after dropping out of sixth form due to bullying. I have no intention of even going to a 3 day college course per week, its all the same. I'm turning 20 in a few months and my life is over already, I'll be working 12 hour shifts for minimum wage because I am weak and it is what I deserve.

>bullying in college
what the fuck man?

Same here, I even started a new career once I finished my first one. Entered at 24 and I look younger than most, people don't even notice until I tell them and the only reason they act surprised is because I look young, not because I'm older per se. I have 26-27-35-39 and 43 year old classmates too. All in second semester.

yeah when I went no one said shit to anyone, perhaps this is the british education thing we heard about

yeah, way too late grandpa
