Well, the ending was a bit too... crazy (?). I don't know exactly but it got a bit too silly.

I liked it still. Surprised Dr. Grant became the bad guy.

It doesn't even exist anymore, though some cut scenes are on youtube.

Imagine this movie made in 2016

It was a cool concept but lacked effective pacing/rarely built tension.
Start to finish, it was almost nonstop (creepy) action. If they had cut out half that action and used the time to explore the scenery and dwell on the terror of their situation, I think it would have been a much better horror movie.

(Also, [insert typical space science inaccuracies here])

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. It's a fucking fun watch, but the script was really terrible at times. The premise really demanded a script that was smarter than the writer could obviously deliver. Or maybe he could, but the studio forced them to dumb it the fuck down.
