Really makes you wonder

Really makes you wonder

If the team stayed in Seattle, they would have easily been able to afford all 3

2/3 of those guys are ballhogs and the other one is a """"""""""superstar""""""""""
would've never worked in the long-run

They would eventually leave because of egos and Westchuck

durcant is a beta just like mcgrady, the other too are two alpha to play together.

This isn't like baseball or football where GOATs can just join together. In basketball if one dude has the ball, that means the other ones dont. They wouldnt be the MVP candidates known today if they all stayed together. They would be 50+ win team every year, and Durant with 2 or 3 MVPs.

>This isn't like baseball or football where GOATs can just join together.
Who are the 2008 Celtics, the Big 3 Heat, or the current Golden State Warriors for $800, please.

Current GSW should have happened a long time ago. It's just a bunch of good players realising that they could win more rings if they took less money and stayed together
The real answer is ego

The celtics all put their egos away because they were declining as players and wanted rings. The Warriors were together for years and are mostly catch-n-shoot. Neither is like okc

>not mentioning current cavs

Funny enough the money will naturally follow after you get a few rings. It's a weird paradoxical thing

m8 i meant numbers wise. They wouldnt be averaging 30ppg each on the same team. Harden wouldnt be a top 10 nba player if they all stayed together.

Harden and Westbrook literally do the exact same thing. They wouldnt be as good as they are separately.

OKC trio had to break up for westbrook and harden to reach their true potential

most of those other groups were already established stars

Harden can't move without the ball, Russ can't function without the ball in his hands

Durant probably gets pissed at both and leaves.

Patently false.

Harden is elite at drawing fouls and a much better three pt shooter. overall more efficient

Russ is a much better player in transition and probably the best rebounding guard in the league

Both generate a ton of assists, but definitely not the same kind

>3 mentally weak chokers on the same team

what a surprise it didnt work out

In Oklahoma they have top toer attendance and one of the biggest shares of audiences in the country. The salary cap and Westbrick were always the problem

DAILY REMINDER THAT THIS MAN ANNIHILATED KEVIN DURANT, RUSSELL WESTBROOK AND JAMES HARDEN AT THE SAME TIME IN THE FINALS 4-1

t. Damien Lillard

The point is that both are best as ball dominant guards. Obviously they have different skill sets, but that doesn't mean that those skill sets would mesh well. A team with a Westbrook-Harden backcourt would clearly be an instant contender, but I don't think they would dominate the league because they would seriously limit one another. Even Durant, who is much better than Harden in an off ball role, was never really in sync with Westbrook.

>le need 50 all stars a team to win anything man
>le 3-4 man

I see your point, but I'd argue that Harden would be very willing to take a secondary role next to WB.

Stagger their minutes so one is always on the floor and surround them with shooters and a paint presence.

Championship

lol, neat

Lol no he wouldn't. Harden is better than Westbrook anyway
