I find it interesting, mostly for external reasons. This is an american movie clearly directed to people attracted, sexually or not, to children. It's not the first of its kind, as Sup Forums is well aware, and it's not the lewdest by far but it's honestly and directly talking about the subject, not just putting some lewd cunnies to attract your average Sup Forumstards.
It's very revealing a modern american movie can only go that far. They can't show nudity, they barely can suggest it, they can't imply sex and the most "problematic" scene is her watching him having sex with an adult woman.
Even when they're trying to be subversive, americans are extremely PC and puritans. This is not a sign of moral decay, it's actually the opposite, this movie confirms ephebophilia is still unacceptable.
I know the medias were too ashamed of this movie to do any form of promotion but some of you must have seen it.
Luke Wood
I thought the whole point of this movie was a guy trying to give a loli hope in her shitty life.
Elijah Evans
The whole point of this movie is a guy wanting to pork a loli but denies it and indulge himself to be with her by convincing her and himself he's trying to give a loli hope in her shitty life.
Benjamin Brown
Why do pedos always pick gremlins?
Julian Foster
>attracted, sexually or not >not sexually >attracted but not sexually attracted
The loli wanted to be pork but that guy honestly just saw her as a young figure to mentor and try to give hope to.

I take it you're under the age of 25.
Adam Stewart
>that guy honestly just saw her as a young figure Are you kidding me ? He's not trusting himself around her and fears he's just gonna jump her.
The bathroom scene is very telling, he was trying to fuck her at this point and only realised her when she began screaming.
Leo Gray
*realised it

No, he's right. You can be drawn to children and not be sexually interested, just wanting to be around them to fill some kind of hole in your heart.
Jackson Gray
I was just thinking about this the other day, but could not remember the title and was afraid of describing the plot to google. thanks.
I enjoyed it, and actually found it very tame.
Any movies similar to this?

Me too. I have an half-sister who's 10, she absolutly idolize me and everytime I come to visit she jumps in my arms.
It feels good but it doesn't mean I want to put my dick in her.
Cooper Wood
I though it was pretty good. It's a challenging subject, but I think it was handled well.
Brayden Williams
i don't understand what you're trying to say.

Pretty much pedocore. Though I think some of those films just have a platonic love between a father figure and a little girl.

American movies are too censored to directly talk about that. They must show platonic love or soccer moms will have the director and producers. put in prison.
Teasing is ok (and always was) but doing it isn't. The closest it became to be acceptable was during the 70's (or during middle age after a raid and all the grown up women were taken)

Apparently those two think threads are a place to insult eachothers. Ignore them, it will go away.
The movie was trying to be subtle, walking on the "line" but in the end it wasn't really thrilling because you know the line can't be crossed as obviously at it would have to be in this movie.
The girl is also a bit unrealistic, girls that age are much much more afraid than that and less desperate for affections. Sure they tried to show her fear once in a while but it wasn't enough. Sure, girls who lack affections exist but they tends to intellectualize their research for attention much differently and hide it because of the shame, she was too obvious.
All she was too well-spoken for a kid, it was painful to hear.

I honestly like it better.

Because that was what Nabrokov intended and because of legal issues of getting a teen girl

Don't.
I once thought it wasn't s sexual thing for me. But I shouldn't. Now she grows up and hates me. I hate myself too.

Lots of children can be pretty, and i'm not even talking in a sexual context. We just reach the pointt where the male species isn't allowed to say it until they reach 18.
