Underappreciated 90s flicks

What are your favorite flicks from the 90s that don't deserve the bad reputation that they have?

Lord of Illusions is by no means a great film, but I keep coming back to it once a year or so.

What movies fit this bill for you?

I want to murder the world

I love lord of illusions.

The Shadow with Alec Baldwin, came at the time when stuff like Dick Tracy and Burton's Batman occupied the niche it was trying to fill. Also liked it since the Shadow was far more dangerous than most characters of the time since he wasn't really that 'good', he believed in a measure of justice but was also a pretty big asshole.

Also it led to a funny 30 Rock episode where Baldwin parodies it a bit

Is that the one where they shoot bullets and the fuse in mid air when they hit each other?

Horror edition?

dark city

>Well...I'm not your shepherd...

Nix was a great bad guy. Very underrated flick.

literally wtf RT

>mute witness

I love Lord of Illusions.

I unapologetically love this flick.

Swann has picked up a small handful of tricks ("Share the power" "all you have to do is beg") but is ultimately ineffectual about the Puritan ... coming home.

D'Amour basically giving no fucks because he has Seen Some Shit.

Ah, but Nyx ... goddamn. He's fucking fantastic. "We were going to keep each other company in the dark."

Yep.

Also Famke was so hot even the gay director talks about how hot she is.

I don't think so, it's the one where Alec Baldwin starts out as a crazy opium addicted warlord.

So she mute but she can hear?

This is the one I was talking about.

Yes. It's about a secret snuff film ring in Russia that she stumbles upon but can't call for help when they try to kill her. She's pretty badass for a disabled girl

Oh damn had forgot all about that scene. Shame that it never really was that popular.

Okay, thanks. Normally mutes are those who cannot hear. But that sounds like something worth watching.

>You know that 30 years later there still snuff film rings in russia.
