I'm very jealous of your hardware collection. Great sounds but your mixing is a bit off I think, for example on Quatra, the synth that comes in at around 1min is wayyyy too loud. The music itself is very organic and has a tonne of potential but the mixing and your image bring it down a lot imo. A new name/aesthetic approach would go very very far, could see you going far and playing some great shows if the finer details like that get taken care of. There is a few tuning issues but thats more just mix selection. great stuff though man, sorry to write a novel about it

Thanks, I realize that some of the synth are mixed weird and some other weird stuff too. Partially because the hardware is really old and of my poor mixing skills lmao, I know the first song has the 909 out of sync and I have to fix that issue. And in flavorful smoke. When I put my overdrive on there is a little volume difference that I never realized was there because I have no speakers, I use earphones instead. I will fix those issues and thanks for the feedback.
The image Is goofy intentionally and I just like to mess around with my music.
Nakamura's back at it again, with another release.
A synth-heavy, kind of noisy, yet clean and interesting release. Hugely influenced by Oneohtrix PN.

These ambiences sound amazing. Very tasteful sounds. Wish I could see the film to hear how the music fits, but it seems like the music is very cohesive with its sounds and it'll go along just nicely.
Following your Bandcamp to hear from you.
once again, fuck you, hahaha
This looks nice, although I need to get some sleep, so I'll download it to hear it tomorrow. Sorry I can't give you feedback right now, but I'll make sure to come back sometime soon.

Had a couple of listens on the previous thread. There were some nice stuff there, congrats guys! Though I don't really like how these threads are dying so young

I love so far:
Strong reccs, mentioned in previous threads how much I enjoyed your stuff
I'm hearing that OPN in there, user, and I'm loving it. Sky Father has a cool retro atmosphere to it too. You're doing great work, downloaded.
Reminds me a lot like Mew instrumentally. I fucking love Mew, man. The vocals are great too and it's all mixed very well. Those lyrics "I hope you move far away and never write home again" are fucking great. Really cool stuff. Any plans for an album?

Why is there usually two threads for this kind of thing now?
Hey, Nakamura. here. Thanks for your feedback! It means a lot to the artist. I'm not the one behind it, other releases of mine are in the Bandcamp, but I'll make sure to tell him.
I listened to the featured track and it's pretty great, even though it holds a main melody, the variations and changes, with these noises and the hi-hats rolls, keep it very interesting and always evolving. Downloading it to hear the rest.

Bumping this thread because the other is just delving into softcore porn now
I am a little confused why Soundcloud posters always use pictures of women and not their album art. It makes their music feel cheap and shitty.

I assume it's like when people use those suggestive semi-revealing NSFW-but-not-really kind of thumbnails on youtube. It persuades people to go visit the link because they're thinking that there might be more boobs
exactly this, its one form of clickbait and its really really sad
That's why we're not in a SC thread
