wonka honka

so every single bit of my childhood is to be systematically destroyed, huh, Hollywood? Keep this up and I may start attending matinee screenings to keep a few of my bucks out of your pocket.

He...he killed him for his father's sins?

>Keep this up and I may start attending matinee screenings to keep a few of my bucks out of your pocket.
>not buying tickets for kino movie and walking into jewshit that won't get your ticket money

That's some biblical shit right there.

>It's a reboot of a movie that is already functionally perfect episode
Seriously, I mean as far as story retellings go this probably isn't the worst choice you could have made, but the one with Gene Wilder has no obvious flaws
This is tangential but I've never seen anyone talk about the comedy in that movie, or how they interject those mini skits about the search for the Golden ticket. They're fantastic little scenes that really give the movie some character, and help to sell the mania around the contest, and it's so much better than a simple 45 second montage showing people grabbing candy off a shelf

how about this

>wonka sends out golden tickets
>gets the children and charlie together
>turns out wonka had a brother
>charlie's dad
>but the parents of the ticket winners all had a hand in charlie's dad dying
>so wonka pays them back
>he invites just the children on the tour
>children start to get hurt and disappear along the tour
>charlie gets more and more worried
>he confronts wonka and attempts to save his life thinking he's the next victim
>mortally wounds wonka after fighting off oompa loompas like batman villain henchmen
>as wonka dies he reveals to charlie what he's been up to
>happily releases his spirit as he's fulfilled his goals of securing his heir and avenging his brother

fund it

This is fucking retarded. ""Professional screenwriters"" can write dumb fan fiction all they want but when we do it, I'm the dumb ass.

Fuck off.

>directing camera shots in the script

Way to out your fanfic as fake.

>fanfic as fake
It's on the 2014 Black List, user.

In that case, protip for fledgling screenwriters: don't direct the camera unless you're going to be directing the camera.

so, "willy wonka and the chocolate factory" was filmed in munich, germany, but where was the actual movie set? the three main stars had american accents, but since roald dahl was english i doubt that was intentional. i can't remember from reading the story so many years ago what the location was, if it was in fact stated

>The imagined life of 'Willy Wonka'
When are they going to do one for CIA?

It wasn't stated, but his teacher and boss and the candy shop guy were all limeys.

>Willy Wonka
>WW
>double-U double-U
>UUUU
>4U

This is it, user. Deepest lore.

cool, just making sure i didn't miss something.

Friggin hell.
