Yeah?

YEAH?

Do you still want me to create the perfect system?

>23:21:46

Woah

Nah don't worry about it

>tfw no sequel

>tron barely has any screen time

NANI!?

K, see ya

...

> Watching last season of Futurama recently
> Tron Legacy was a bad movie meme

Why do people shit on this movie.

I really don't understand it myself. It didn't do well in the box office, so maybe people base their spite on that?

>jeff bridges kills jeff bridges on a bridge leading to a bridge by bridging the gap between him and jeff bridges

Y-y-yees?

I'm one of the very few who actually enjoyed this movie

Watching it in theaters with the Daft Punk soundtrack blasting at full volume was epic as fuck. If teenage me had enough money at the time, I would have went to see the movie multiple times just for the soundtrack.

this

perfect movie for 3D and those light planes at the end.. woah

Music and visuals (except CGI Jeff Bridges) are great. The story is a mess. Was Tron even in it? I can't remember.

>Tron Uprising will never get a season 2

End my life familia

*tips*

I don't think so

He was killed by Clu in a flashback iirc

he was clu's evil henchmen you idiots

Are you stupid? Fucking Tron casuals. Clu captured Tron, reprogrammed (brainwashed) him, and turned him into Rinzler, who remembers who he is at the very end of the movie and takes out Clu's light flyer.

That's right then he was brought back by Clu

>no second season of this cartoon kino
>the staff went to make an avengers cartoon
It's never fair.

Kevin, can you fix his legs and stutter?

Don't worry fellas I thought it was neat-o

ATREYUUUUUU!!!

never forgave ""italian prince"" tao ruspoli for dating pure, unadultured olivia wilde..

>tfw watching the bog of despair scene
Shit was pretty deep and emotionally draining for what's supposed to be a kid's movie.

Soundtrack is pure kino.

...YEAH.

that melody at 1:21

>Tron Legacy came 28 years after Tron
>It will probably be another 28 years before the next Tron
>all thanks to Disney axing their sci-fi line because Tomorrowland bombed hard

Fuck Lindelof

It's already been almost 6 years. Where the fuck did Monday go?

>Why do people shit on this movie.

i'm sort of wondering how Clu's army was going to be powered once they arrived in reality. magic? bio-digital jazz, perhaps?

> here, tune that digital radio to the bio-digital jazz channel, man

DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF

DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF

...

DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF

awe yiss. music has never been better since sequencers and samplers.

NONE OF THESE CUNTS CAN PLAY AN ACTUAL INSTRUMENT

>quorra has a tattoo on her left gun
>she wears dumb sleeves and tank top so it could easily accidentally slip
Yeah what

...

...

daft punk is overrated

If you post two webms of vehicles I am to infer that the actual animation is not that good.

>NONE OF THESE CUNTS CAN PLAY AN ACTUAL INSTRUMENT

>daft punk
>can't play real instruments

Should I tell him or doe someone else want to?

They're French. All they do is smell bad and surrender.

>mfw the block of flats from Elephant & Castle made it into the Grid

I felt like I was stoned watching that movie. It was fucking crazy.

>Music was perfect
>CGI was very good (other than Uncanny Bridges)
>Action was pretty sweet
>Slick shots
>Will never get a sequel

...

Hey at least it won't be ruined by a shitty sequel.

youtube.com/watch?v=yRvVyMuWbpM

Literally a plebeian.

...

pure kino

>paige will never step on my balls
Just fucking kill me already...

abosolute kino

one of the movies i watch repeatedly every year

CGI Jeff Bridges looks like shit, and I would be able to excuse it for him being a computer program but they ruin that in that one scene where Bridges makes his clone and they're talking to eachother and it just looks fuuucking hiiiideous, but I guess for some less technically minded people it looks okay. Also the action scene choreography was sort of bad. Especially the fight in the bar. Very sloppy. Lame moves and jumbled together quick cuts (so many cuts).

Where's my second season of Uprising?

now that's podracing

...

he was Rinzler, the guy doing all the flips and shit

>Beck "I dont care what you do to me. im not letting you kill for revenge."
>Tron Knocks out Beck.
>Tron: "I didnt ask your permission."
>mfw

Is the Tron Uprising. the ultimate Tron kino?

This

I cry everytiem

>tfw didn't watch it in the theater because "it looks bad"
>watch it at home and immediately regret missing IMAX Kino
Anyone else know this feel

That moment to me puts Tron Uprising on Batman Beyond's level if not above it.

Old Tron was a force to be reckoned with and he wasn't even at full strength!

You do realize that "CGI Jeff Bridges" is literally regular Jeff Bridges de-agified using software. And of course it's going to look bad, when it was the first film to ever use this technique.

Yeah.

...

Why's he making that weird face?

CGI Jeff Bridges did it for me. He was a computer program. They all were inside a computer. It kinda fit to make it sort of uncanny.

...

Sup Forums. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of threads as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Memes? Shitposts? Were the boards like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then, one day... I got banned.

...

I'm sure they'd chalk it up to something like drawing from the Earth's natural bio-electric energy or something. Or maybe their bodies could produce more natural energy or some shit. They'd find a way, soldier.

It may have been the best theatrical experience I've ever had. Wish I would have seen it a second time.

mfw she'll never adopt that hairstyle again

It was marketed as a in-your-face action flick for kids, but is more of a a quiet modern myth—son travels to the deep, dark underworld to rescue his dead father from the grave. They reunite, make peace, but the son still "fails". He begins his journey jaded and bitter about his father's absence, but ends up coming out of it understanding his father and continuing his legacy.

Meanwhile, CLU wrestles with the awareness of being created for a specific purpose and then being shunned by his creator (his father) BECAUSE of said purpose. CLU was overzealous and limited in his thinking because Flynn was when he constructed CLU from his own then-callow ambitions.

And everyone just geeks out about Daft Punk. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This reminds me of an amateur vid I found on pornhub, some guy was pissing on his wife in the bathtub while she was fully clothed, holding a bible and talking about being a good christian
Then she talked about how shes always been a good wife, but if Olivia Wilde ever offered to have sex with her she'd do it without hesitation.
One of the strangest pornos I've ever watched, wish I could find it again

I totally agree. I loved CLU as-is, but absolutely loathe the creepy, mannequin-esque young Kevin turning back to Sam after tucking him in at the beginning of the film. That's really the only problem shot for me, IIRC. After seeing what they did with young RDJ in Civil War, I can only imagine they could have absolutely nailed young bridges face today.

I think Bridges also has a tough face to get right. CGI Tron looked pretty damn good. Too bad they barely used him and lost much of the detail with the filter.

I think that's why he looked relatively good. They knew to limit it to fairly distant shots of his face with the glitchy chromatic-abberated filter.

Great work by the team, all the same.

Because he's going home to plow Olivia Wilde. What kind of face would you be making?

The pic I posted is unfiltered though, and I can't say I've seen a still frame of young Bridges that looks nearly as good.

I had assumed the reason the filter was used, and the reason you don't see Tron's face at the end (would have been much more epic if he de-helmeted for his "I fight for the users" line) was because they didn't do a proper Boxleitner model. But the artist had no idea that the filter was gonna end up being used for Tron's only unmasked scene, much to his dismay.

>Quorra will have been made from Kevin Flynn's stored molecules
>tfw Sam will essentially be fucking his father

Why would she be made of his stored molecules?

Where else was the matter to make her coming from? Also... it's been a while, but doesn't she end up leaving with his identity disc?

The ISOs spawned from the void. But if you're talking about when she came into the real world, I don't think they implied she used Flynn's matter. I mean how does the digitization device remake anyone, really?

>I mean how does the digitization device remake anyone, really?
It stores their molecules when they go in, then reassembles it upon exit. Since Kevin's were the only other molecules the laser had Quorra would have been made from that.

Underrated post.

well how would Clu and his army have come through then? Surely Clu would have known about this.

>I mean how does the digitization device remake anyone, really?
"While the laser is dismantling the molecular structure of the object, the computer maps out a holographic model of it. The molecules themselves are suspended in the laser beam. Then the computer reads the model back out, the molecules go back into place, and… voila!”

They wouldn't. Only enough molecules for 2 people to come through. I guess Clu could have come through and digitized more people so their matter could be used to bring forth his army. Some discussion on it here.
