At the end of the day all South Africans want the same thing: everyone should be able to fulfill their ambitions in life without poverty affecting them. The main difference comes in where Whites are individual orientated (i.e if you are on this earth, you must accept your situation and only hard work will pull you through. Nobody is on this earth to give you handouts or cater for you). Blacks on the other hand believe in progression through others. They believe that they are only partially responsible for getting out of their situation because they feel entitled to "take what was rightfully theirs".
