It's difficult to pick one single episode when there are so many great ones.

The Midnight Sun
To Serve Man
He's Alive

but there really are so many more that are worth a watch. I forget the name of the one where the toys are in a charity box and it plays out a bit like No-Exit.

I've never heard of No-Exit before, but I think it may have inspired the name of that episode as well. It's called Five Characters in Search of an Exit.

Air/Spacecraft episodes are the best.

It really was, for the simple reason of being less formulaic. Almost every episode of Twilight Zone you're waiting for that "and this is the twist!" moment, The Outer Limits was just about telling a good story
