But they're all really enjoyable, imo

AoD was garbage, and even though I like cheesy movies, this one was just plain garbage. Remake was better and it was pretty fun, though it didn't have that bad acting 1 did. 1 is the magnum opus of the trilogy.

AvED is better than 3

AvED suffers hardcore from a lack of consistent direction and the god-awful acting chops of the supporting cast. Mexican Kramer and the jewish girl are painful to watch half the time. I'm liking it on the whole, but I wish they had a single set of writers for the whole series instead of a different team every ep.

Army of Darkness is cheesy and a massive departure in tone from the rest of the series, but I take it for what it is and enjoy the fuck out of it.

I don't know how shows manage to produce coherent series, stories with a lot of writers working on it, but it used to work. And it works here to, they had a direction in s1 and it arrived there well (the cabin) in a roadmovie style.

Yes, AoD is too cheesy, thats why i like AvED more, despite the sidekick. I bet/hope they'll have the role where they'll be chopped too like cop-lady.
