The bait has all been thoroughly eaten. Now nearly everybody's bloated on bullshit that they've convinced themselves to believe, and worse, that they've convinced themselves is important.
I used to think I'd be here forever, but I've found myself coming less and less, and often then only for porn. It's a shame so many of you haven't seen this place in its heyday, back when it was fun and honest, and saw the world as a bigass joke not to be taken too seriously. I still see fragments of that from time to time, and I'm glad to see them, but it's nothing like it used to be. Not even close. I used to think that maybe I've just been here too long, but I don't think that's the case.
The threads, as I'm scrolling down right now, are sub-summer tier despite it being well into Fall. Some truly awful shit has eased into Sup Forums and it's been festering here too long for me to take anymore. Maybe I was holding onto some hope that it would go away and that the cancer was a myth. Obviously I was wrong.
So I'm out. The last bastion of the Internet has fallen. Damned shame.
