Absolutely no idea -- I don't think it was my fault, because I read various security guides about the deep web. Use VMs with a trustworthy SOCKS5 Proxy, remove your traces, use TAILS, even "don't use full screen" and such.
That's why I think tor is nothing but a honeypot nowadays. The sites are specifically set up to catch us people; why else would they take all the effort to hunt me down despite all the measures I had taken? I'm glad I didn't go to jail for long for this shit.

Meh, tor itself isn't exactly compromised.
But there are ways to unmask your IP through use of browser exploits, etc. if you visit a honeypot or hacked site.
And running a server can be risky, NSA and friends have ways to track down a server's location over time.
But it is still secure if you're using it more like a tunnel service and know what you're doing.
Oh, and if you're a pedo fuck then kiss your ass goodbye because you're pretty much target number 1.
