Working on a sceenplay right now. On page 68, have tons of notes and my wall is lined with post its. Only thing holding me back is my laziness. Need to just sit down and right. I hope to have 90 pages done by end of the month

Bumping with dogkino

>finished co writing first screenplay
>had first full cast read through
>have producers ready to back follow up projects
>have distribution connections

Haven't even put anything out and it seems like everything's going so fast. Anyone have any advice for an Indie director/producer just starting out?

What kind of time frame was the script written ?

Came up with and toned the concept over a few hours of drinking with my film partner, took about two or three weeks before we got the script where we're comfortable with it. Still fine tuning as we go through read throughs though

bump

How the fuck did you get all those people interested?

I'm ingrained in the local film scene (through connections and friends), so I know who to go to with everything. Other than that, just letting people know the general idea and what we're putting into it

What's your idea, man?

>Writing a Vlog Horror Movie to get attention from literally anyone
>If you got a problem with the fucking idea then go suck a dic.
>Fucking hate how I haven't written a single page because I can't get a break from my family
>Fucking hate my life.

Pretty much the personification of fear haunts some dudes. Theres more to it but my buddy browses Sup Forums and would be pissed for me leaking

I'm moving to Atlanta tomorrow morning to try and find some work. Does anyone have any tips

Been writing my second screenplay lately.

Are there any (preferably free) contests where people enter their screenplays at a chance to win cash price? I'm a poorfag.

>are there any places that will give me free money?
user

Did you have connections? Or did you somehow find producers that were interested in your script?

Know the feeling.
I have multiple ideas/scripts that I'm 10 pages in on each but nothing further.

I think I have to settle on one and just follow through.

You think you can just slap together a movie?

Made friends through local film conventions and showed them our screenplay. This one's already funded but they're throwing down money for our next project just based on our screenplay and what we've told them about how we as directors are handling it

Right on. Congrats user, you're really doing it.

The amount of bullshit you read in these threads is astounding.
