Why is no one talking about the x23 loli

>why is no one talking about the x23 loli
>you faggots disappoint me
>Hugh Jackman is done with wolverine
>they do the "old man logan" kinda story
>introducing x23
>Logan will 99% probably die in this movie
>x23 loli will take his place in new movies
>mfw we will never have better male wolverine
>mfw who will play x23 teen in the next movies

>Wolverine
>Die

he die nigga no more Hugh Jackman they cant just recast new wolverine doing this movie so x23 can take his place in the new xmen and wolverine movies if there are any

>x23 loli will take his place in new movies
>muh passing of the torch
>muh feminism

Hugh Jackman is old and dont wanna do wolverine
any more
the only way they can still milk it if they connect it with x23 and she replace him so the movies and $ flow can continue
no feminism here faggot this is they only way to keep milking the wolverine they cant just cast new actor for it will surely fail whoever they pick

Market your feminist fantasy bull elsewhere, Fox shill.

cant see further than your nose
cast a new Wolverine then faggot
>pro tip you cant

You know, people might take your posts slightly more seriously if you stopped using the word loli every other sentence.

you are right i forgot we are reddit 2.0 now

>everyone including xavier is old/dead in this logan story
>thinking this will have any effect on the current movies set in the past
not a chance senpai, this is just an end to the logan solo story

that is such a horrific use of greentext that its genuinely hard to understand what you're trying to say, speak like a normal person next time

Who are you quoting? Why is your face a hand? Why do you think Logan can die? Why do you think they will let their most popular character die?

Not that guy, but X-23 wasn't made specifically to replace Wolverine for feminism. She was created ages ago in a cartoon called X-men Evolution and only appeared 2 or 3 times in it. She's basically his rule 63 clone. She's been around and has her own character outside of him and had a solo book etc. In short she is already established so her taking over the "Wolverine" name when Logan dies makes sense. Out of all the bullshit "lets make all your favorite Marvel heroes women," stories, X-23 is the only one that actually makes sense.

Now that Jackman wants to retire, recasting the role is a big risk, but letting X-23, an established character from the comics step into the role is much less of one. The success or failure of the character depends heavily on who they cast. Are they going to continue to use the young actress they have now? Are they going to cast a teen? Given how bad Apocalypse was I'd say it's even money that they'll fuck up X-23 somehow.

TL;DR: It's not as much pandering to feminism as a natural progression for one existing character as a result of the retiring/killing of another character.

Wolverine has died before yes. He can't live forever.
She was never meant to replace Wolverine, and even though she eventually does, she's actually a well written character.

>makes sense
No, finding another actor to play wolverine would make sense.

Recasting someone who has played a role like 10 times is a mistake. Move on to a new character.

It's easier to replace James Logan with Laura Kinney than it is to replace Hugh Jackman

Sometimes a guy fits into a role way too well. They waited 20 years to try to replace Christopher Reeves' Superman and their first attempt failed miserably anyway.

I expect a similar disaster if Robert Downey Jr. ever quits Iron Man.

That's the one ok thing about them constantly shuffling who is who in comics these days; that if someone wants out you have an easy way to replace them. Like Sam becoming the new Cap because Evans wants out.

to everyone thinking logan wont die in this film: look at the poster and the pictures and shit. his ability to heal is rapidly fading, and he is aging. he has many cuts and scars and open wounds. i believe the synopsis even says his mutation is fading.
since all the mutants are gone, im guessing the big bad of the movie used some viral/biological attack that destroyed the mutants, and logan's incredible regeneration/healing abilities allowed him to stave off the disease for a bit

I think it would be pretty cool if "the mutants are gone" means most of them have fled to Genosha and the movie ends with Logan, even if he's dying, handing the kid off to safety in the hands of Magneto

The villain is Mr. Sinister. Mr. Howlett is going to die eventually anyways due to Adamantium Poisoning. His body can't keep up with constantly having to heal the grafts.

Nope. James Bond films are going strong. Civil War got all the hype and sales because of Spiderman. Superman and Batman have been played by everybody yet can sell trash on name alone.

These films aren't made for artistic value, they're made for money. Wolverine makes money. If they have to reboot the universe again they'll do it without batting an eye.

If someone told me years ago I'd see Mr. Sinister in a movie I would've laughed in their faces.

this guy get it also i agree x23 is pretty cool character
> Are they going to continue to use the young actress they have now?
from the trailer looks like she fit the x23 if they plan to replace the wolverine witch i think they are doing with this movie she will age till next xmen movies if she do well her maybe she will stay

As would I, but I'm curious what Nathan Essex will bring to him.

In the "Old Man Logan" comic (wich this movies is based on) the supervillians banded together and eliminated most of the heroes in one night. Mysterio "mind-tricked" Logan into killing most of the Xmen

The Reavers (the people chasing after them in the trailer) might take the role of the supervillains in this film. Maybe they coordinated an attack that wiped most of them out.

no its not Mr Sinister will be villain in the next xmen he wont be in Logan movie

He's already been confirmed for Logan. Nathan Essex is playing him. The synopsis already explains what he's doing too.

>Set in the year 2033, Logan's healing abilities still function but at a substantially lesser degree and are still fading as he is aging at a more normal rate while his face and body are scarred from past injuries. Professor Charles Xavier has Alzheimer's disease causing him to forget. The X-Men have lost when Nathaniel Essex and his corporation has left the world in ruins. Logan must defeat Essex with the help of a young girl named Laura Kinney, a female clone of Wolverine.

This is Possible Plot leak
WOLVERINE is set in 2034, 10 years after the epilogue of X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, and the world has been reduced to a post-apocalyptic dystopia after an all-out war between humans and mutants toppled the United States government. Weapon X was then reactivated to destroy the mutant race through which any means necessary, and most of the X-Men have died in the crossfire, attempting to end the conflict.

Logan is one of the sole survivors, and lives in an isolated cabin in the Canadian wilderness, haunted by the fractured memories of both timelines and blaming himself for erasing one nightmarish future only to create one perhaps even worse. He claims that "Wolverine" is dead and refuses to use his claws.

One day, a group of mutant resistence fighters led by Iceman shows up at his doorstep. They've intercepted a convoy transporting Weapon X's new asset from their main base of operations to one of their outposts, and need to deliver it to Professor Charles Xavier, who is stationed in Mutant Town, a mutant foxhole. The path there is tortuous, and Logan is the only one who knows how to outmaneuver the dangers that await them on their way back to the United States.

Logan is reluctant, until he learns the asset is X-23, a clone created based on his DNA by Weapon X's sponsor, the Essex Corporation. Shortly afterwards, a group of Weapon X enforcers led by vicious and sadistic Captain Knox attack Wolverine's cabin. Iceman's men are slaughtered, and Iceman sacrifices himself to bid Logan and X-23 enough time to escape into the wilderness.

>In the commentary to X-Men: Apocalypse, Bryan Singer confirmed that Nathaniel Essex / Mister Sinister will make his first on-screen appearance in the film (Logan).

Wait a few years and they could make an NYX style movie with that actress and have her team up with other kids that have turned into mutants. Minus the hooker part of course

>budget: $120 million
I never thought I'd say this but I wish it was lower

I highly doubt they'd ever do NYX, whether its Rated R or not.

Logan and Creed have a vicious battle throughout the collapsing facility, relying on their healing factors, but they're both old, and their wounds are not healing as fast. They inflict substantial damage to each other, but Creed ultimately gains the upper hand, He becomes more maniac, celebrating that they have shed their humanity to die together as brothers and as animals. Logan points out he's not fighting Creed as an animal. He's hunting him as a man. And he's walked into a trap. Logan then slices a lever, dropping a vat of molten Adamantium into Victor, who cries in pain and agony as he's reduced to a deformed statue of molten metal. The entire facility explodes. X-23 wants to go back for Logan, but Xavier and Commander Reyes say it's too late. Logan realizes he's in the same place where he was "born" as the Wolverine, collapses from his injuries, lights one last cigar and embraces death, whispering "I'm ready." He's consumed by the flames and apparently dies.

Xavier no longer senses Logan and proclaims he's gone. X-23 cries for his death, still clutching his dogtags.

If they wanted to continue with a more personal story NYX or better a story inspired by it would work really well in exploring Laura.
Of course Target X would work too.

Literally the most boring character

I think they could do Laura justice by just having her age and seeing what the world is like. I mean she already has a better upbringing just based on the trailer we seen and her having more of a father/daughter interaction with Logan than the brother/father/sister thing with him in the comics.

They could easily have her just growing up and trying to deal with a life without Logan anymore and surviving on her own more like an animal, a wolverine and such. I think that would probably speak more volumes than say incorporating NYX.

Literally one of the Top 4 most iconic Superheroes in the entire world.

I wonder what we'll get to see of her past anyway. Like if we see her mother and maybe even how she killed her?
Though given that we have Sinister in the movie I'm guessing they'll just make her a freak clone that he cooked up instead of the whole story with her mother.

I like it

Well, they've still got her name as Laura Kinney as of right now. So likely she'll be shown as the Doctor that helped create her in all likelihood. I don't expect her to have much of a part other than a brief flashback and Laura going on a small rampage.

>Literally one of the Top 4 most iconic Superheroes in the entire world

LOL, talk out of your ass more, idiot.

>Xavier will die
>Logan will die

;_;

Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, Wolverine.

Those are the most iconic Superheroes that people know. The only ones that come close are Hulk, Wonder Woman, and Iron Man. The latter mostly due to the MCU. The only real villain that comes close in any way is Joker.

You could walk up to anybody on the street and mention those 4 names and they'd instantly know who you were talking about.

and look where his hand is in relation to the tiled "wall" in the pic. he can't be standing with that wall there
>mfw he's dead laying on an autopsy table with his arm hanging off

are you blind villain is shown in the trailer Mr,Sinnister wont be in this movie as a main character he may have some Cameo appearance but thats it or he will kill Logan at the end but i dont think they will do that
>the main villain is The Reavers
the Reavers are a team of criminal cyborgs. The most significant team of Reavers were dedicated to the destruction of the mutants X-Men, and a number of them especially wanted to take revenge on one particular X-Man, Wolverine.
They leader is Donald Pierce pic relate the guy with the cyborg arm in the trailer

Try looking at actual statistics and not whatever imaginary headcanon you've dreamed up

I'd like to see her death scene and then Laura killing soldiers in the snow like in the first issue of Target.

And they'd do it over and over if it saves the life of someone worth saving.

>the guy playing Mr. Sinister is mentioned to be the reason all the mutants are dead
>his actor is in the realm
>The Reavers are part of his corporation
>He won't be in this movie other than a cameo despite being confirmed to be in the movie and having a role
He is not wrong in any way. You can go to any site and see Wolverine is up there.

are you stupido if its like you say this is the end of the xmen movies then
>all of them are dead
>wolverine is done dead
yea sure bro
sinnister wont have big role here im pretty sure since the only one who can hurt him is cyclops and he is dead basically you telling me sinnister win at the end and all x men are kill?

You forget X-Men has time travel shenanigans. Just because Sinister wins up to that point doesn't mean we won't see time travel shenanigans.

Besides, if Sinister winning means no more Cyclops, then I'm fine with that. Nobody likes Cyclops.

also pause the trailer at 1:30 and you can see Logan on the ground blocking someones claws its either x23 which i doubt the only other option is Lady Deathstrike and she is in the reavers
maybe she will kill wolverine and x23 will lose it and rekt her

Well whoever it is appears to have more than 2 claws, unless they're just giving Laura 3 claws for the sake of making her more like Logan.

>inb4 its Daken somehow

If its a loli, then its cool.

How the fuck is she taking over for Logan if this takes place in the future??
The next x-men movies are in the past and wolverine is in the future... Wtf

LMAO

>Kill off Wolverine to make way for stronk female Wolverine

Why the fuck is every good super hero now being replaced by a woman. Just why.

>Female Thor
>Female Captain America
>She-Hulk taking the mantle of regular Hulk
>Female Cyclops

Seems the only heroes immune to this are the whacky nu-male leftist ones like Memepool.

Fuck yes X-23 Hype.

The fact that they cast her so young worries me a bit, child actors and all, but I remain hopeful.

Also in comic Laura was 12 when they send her out to kill people. So it fits with the trailer this girl will be the new wolverine

Where have you been?

dude are you stupid Hugh Jackman the guy that play Wolverine is done this is his last movie. If they want to continue they have 2 options cast new male Wolverine that will be a fail or continue with x23 that has already done in the comic
get the fuck out with your stong woman bullshit this have nothing to do with it also x23 is a teen

Comics... were a mistake

You do know Wolverine is dead in the comics right and X-23 has taken his place because Daken is a fucking hack and that she was actually written very well prior to Bendis right?

They didn't kill off Wolverine because of feminism, they killed him off because his powers had gotten so out of hand in the comics that he was nigh unusable or unbeatable by any means, so they bullshitted a way to kill him off just so they could dial him back and reuse him again years down the line with him more in line with his older stuff. X-23 was just the most logical choice to replace him.

Ayy lmao

>lights one last cigar and embraces death, whispering "I'm ready."

You're fucking awful and I hope you never have a job writing anything ever.
