Very comfy.

1. Road to Perdition
2. Apollo 13
3. Cast Away
4. Saving Private Ryan
5. Forrest Gump
6. Catch Me If You Can
7. The Money Pit
8. A League of Their Own
9. Big
10. Captain Phillips

>No Green Mile

WEW

it's alright but it didn't do much for me

Cast away.... the fire rises

The Money Pit

Hanks is a great comedic actor, I wish he'd do more comedies instead of DaVinci Code stuff. After Money Pit I'd probably go strait to Big and then Forrest Gump.

Not trying to slight Tom here but he was the least interesting character in that movie. He didn't do a bad job in it or anything but it's certainly not a "Tom Hanks Movie" if you know what I mean.

The Lady Killers

The terminal probably isn't my favorite but its definitely a good one.

turner and hooch
The Terminal

1. Forrest Gump
2. Cast Away
3. The Terminal
4. Catch Me if You Can
5. Apollo 13
Everything else I don't have particularly strong feelings about, I just know that every THanks movie after 1990 is comfy to the bone.

If he is not your favorite actor than you might be retarded

The Terminal is practically the definition of a comfy film.

Is Tom Hanks always typecasted as a likeable guy? Any movies where he is a complete jerk or villian?

Your damn fucking right it is.
>takes one in one novel, cozy, and interesting place
>no super serious drama but still human characters
>likable and easygoing protagonist
>mostly plotless but things still happen
>strong cast of likable and individual characters
>protagonist has to overcome obstacles but which aren't particularly serious
>upbeat OST
Tom Hanks' movies are the best example of comfycore.
He plays a villain in Cloud Atlas and I think the Lady Killers.
