Atheism a decade ago had a respectable culture, or to a degree. It's true that lots of christians don't ever question their faith and just go along with it, shutting out anything that might challenge it. It was kind of cool that atheists on the other hand were questioning these morals and religions, they tended to truly be more open minded/""thinking"" in a sense. As a christian I obviously don't agree with atheistic beliefs (inb4) but nowadays atheists are also full of bottom barrel morons, that think "ohh christianity is just so flawed hehe its just objectively wrong".
