This episode was the worst. It's worse than the fucking wacky teddy bear one. I hate everybody who mistales this episode for any level of deep and thinks it's good sci-fi. Psuck my dick.

Best episode is the one where people can replay wht they've seen and the guy gets cucked, and the pigfucker one (besides his wife being an absolute coldhearted cunt to him).

I think be right back is the best. Not sure what i'd rate the new episodes yet, shut up and dance was the most gripping but the ending really fucked me up. Didn't see it coming at all, it was done brilliantly but I wouldn't sit through it a second time.

The day sci-fi becomes good will be the day I die. Sci-fi is a debasement, sci-fi is one of those horrific crutches as they call them, it's not even a real phrase. It diminishes anything, it's like referring to all Spanish literature as spic-fic. When you are able to diminish something, you don't actively have to go after it, it already becomes laughable. When people think Independence Day is science fiction and they've never read a novel by A. E. van Vogt or a novel by Kate Wilhelm then what we have is a bastardized form. When they read Star Trek novels and they think this is writing, we lose from the pool of literature. We have an increasingly illiterate population and I think this sci-fi crap helps that along. It keeps people stupid.

I can't tell you how many times I've been in a room with a writer and I've been arguing a plot point and he eventually says "It's sci-fi, it doesn't have to make sense. We can make whatever we wanna make." I think that's ridiculous. They're trying to apply a different set of rules to science fiction, like it doesn't matter, it doesn't have to be logical at all, but it does matter. The fault is theirs for not seeing that. I even used to sit at home with a particular writer who used to devise ideas by saying "Now, let's see, we have this alien with uh, 3 eyes, suppose we do a fourth eye. Or... What about, 2 left hands?" and I had to say "No, that really uh, that's... That's not an idea." Because that's like taking another gimmick and making it look different. That's not developing a character. I think that's what's happening today, and that's what's sci-fi.

San Junipero is one of the best episodes in the new season. Sup Forums just looks at the lesbian stuff and instantly cries that it's tumblr shit and writes off the whole episode as awful.
