This. He was the worst part of Breaking Bad and he's the worst part of Bojack Horseman. But he has name recognition and for some reason people like him. He should be able to live comfortably on mediocre acting gigs for a while.

Because whenever he goes to an audition he throws them off because he ends it with "Hire me, Bitch!".

1. he isnt as cute as he was in the early seasons of breaking bad anymore.

3. he isnt a great actor. or voice actor for that matter. he is awful on bojack.

i'd say daniel radcliffe and elijah wood are good examples of people who still continue to get good roles after their career defining ones. patrick stewart is a great example, though. is it different for tv actors since we spend more time viewing them as that character?

I saw him in a show on Hulu called "The Path" that wasn't too bad. His character was believable and wasn't anything like Jesse.

Elijah Wood has done pretty varied stuff since LotR and Stewart is famous for both TNG and X-Men as opposed to just one thing. Radcliffe will always be Harry Potter though

He's not a great actor. He did well as Jessie but can you honestly see him in anything else? I can't imagine the guy has any versatility, and he's not traditionally attractive so that means he's basically shit out of luck.

let's remind ourselves that the character wasn't meant to last for the entire run, but the producers liked the character enough to keep him. they only hired him because they didn't know they were going to be stuck with him for five or six seasons

i mean, iunno about that, he didnt exactly 'set his sights on her', it more or less came about naturally, he was interviewing her, she offered to meet up, he fangirled out and accepted. there wasnt really any time to organically add the rest of the cast members to the meet up. and she was with her family so its not like it was just him and his wife + millie.

I don't think his height is much of a factor. Hollywood is full of turbo-manlets. 5'8" is pretty much average. The Hollywood manlet cutoff is like 5'6"
