Things that meke you go reeee

>319 kbps

The only thing that makes me a little pissy is when every song has a 1+ MB album cover attached to it

i've encountered embedded 3000x3000 png files making the album size like 30 mb bigger

>no album cover
>all metadata in song title
>everything in caps
>datpiff

>.m4a

>non 1:1 album cover

>capitalizing in, on, the, of, etc when they're in the middle of the song title

this

>every track has '-[bandname]' after it

...

music downloaded from bandcamp has shitty file name structure, it's artist - track number - song titles iirc

I bought an album once that was tagged "[artist name] - [album name] ([cat#] - [label name])" in every track's album field. I paid for it and this is what I get? I fixed the tags and uploaded it to mediafire out of spite.

>random song in the album has a non capitalized title

I swear there needs to be a tag how to chart.
>01 Song Title With Words Capitalized
Not
>artist name - 01. ( if you put a period after the # kys) Song title - year

>four japanese exclusive tracks

this, but i hope you don't mean all the words
>08 I Come and Stand at Every Door
is ok
>08 I Come And Stand At Every Door
is not

that structure makes sense if you keep all your music in one folder but what kind of madman would do that?

whatever this is

Who cares, that album is fucking fantastic. Definitely one of the most innovative albums of all time.

It's too late for me to turn back now.
I deleted midori because their song titles had emojis in them

>not tagging every song with disc number

oh that reminds me
>filling the disc number tag when it's just one disc

>Song(1) is 319kbps
>Song(2) is 1kbps
>Mash them together in FL Studio

Ahhhhh, now THIS is how the artist intended it to be

>It's too late for me to turn back now.
i didn't say it was bad

God, just recently downloaded a mixtape from Datpiff that had the artist's name in front of every track title and that is enough to drive me up a wall

>not maintaining a standard throughout your entire library
baka

also this shit, i understand having a couple of bonus tracks but having six different versions each with its own track listing is unacceptable

When the best album has the worst album cover

Fags on some anonymous Chinese cartoon site bitching about the bitrate of illegally downloaded music.

what if my standard is to include only relevant information

when the album cover is not 1:1 and is literally a postcard, i can't even crop this shit without getting rid of half of it

how does this make you faggots feel

i'm cleaning all my metadata to one standard

and i capitalize "On" because sometimes it's better cap'd

too late to turn back now ahahahahhahahahahah

that just makes it look like you have a bunch of music from a band called alcest 1

> - for no reason
Kys

I think that's the disc number.
I only do that with albums that come in multiple CDs

You people need TagScanner.

It will make your life much easier.

my method for multiple disc album is for example just naming them 01 to 25 for example, but in the tags have the first 13 be dis one and 1 to 13, and the remaining 12 to be disc 2 and 01 to 12. so when looking at the folder seems like it's a 25 track album, gets rid of the CD1 and CD2 folders which i hate and it's not like when you're viewing it in a file manager you need to know it's a double album

but then i would have to go over everything myself and it would take even more time. it's cool tho if you don't have ocd

I just name the files like this.

yeah that seems like a better idea than mine, but as it is with most of this stuff once you've been doing your system for years it's hard to go back and change things

which do you prefet
>ft.
>feat.
>featuring

I went back and redid my (relatively small) catalogue 18 or so months ago. It took almost two weeks and I ended up with RSI from hitting hotkeys. Worth it.

Anything more than ft. is just a waste of screen real estate.

>ft.
Its short and I know what it means.

>Ft.
Much better

A new iron maiden album

>Rip album with EAC
>One track has 99.9% accuracy

die

not using it at all

>date is 2014/07/09 not just 2014
It's the little things

>artist releases two albums in the same year
>the first is alphabetically after the second one

name one artist that releases more than one album a year thats worth listening

King Gizzard and the lizard wizard

Electric Light Orchestra

merzb...

>download album from slsk
>upload to musicbee
>it shows up as 10 different albums by 5 different artists because of inconsistent tags

>slsk download
>every track on the album has a different bitrate

>Song name / Silence / Song name

>VBR

>(prod. by xxxxx) at every track title

Jerry Paper

It's called VBR fucktard

what the fuck pepe?

listening to grimes is unacceptable

most pleb reply ive ever seen. congratulations.
