Can someone explain the hat symbolism in this scene? I'm afraid it went over my head.
/ourguy/
William a shit.
Carlos
he needs more lines, still don't know shit about him, except that he has social anxiety lel.
I suspect we'll learn a lot next episode when he interacts with dolores.
>not rooting for the bots
If the technology in this world is so advanced that they can make ridiculously good AI with extremely realistic robots, I wonder why they just don't have some sort of virtual reality technology. That has to be a lot less expensive than literally recreating several acres of land and all the material needed to create the robots and also maintain them after they get raped/destroyed every night.
I thought he was our guy?
>wanting to have sex with one of the hosts but their previous client had fetish for pooping on the hosts
I wonder if the hosts have a threshold for when they need to be brought into maintenance. Because there's no way to get that clean again in the Old West unless you jump in the river.
his interactions with his brother-in-law and the hosts give us at least a broad outline of his character
good guy, moral compass, concern about shit, you know
none of the characterization in the show is that good
Maybe they do and that's what normal people choose? It's heavily implied that Westworld is an extreme luxury.
GROWIN BOY
Claim your weapon Sup Forums
>lever action masterrace
GOMAD
But the area of land is actually very small thanks to their shrink ray technology.
>the maze isn't for you
So the maze is for hosts?
>Westworld takes place deep underground, as well as all of human society, since the earth's surface is now uninhabitable
>The Earth in Westworld is actually Earth 2, 300,000 years in the future, after humanity already fucked up the first Earth, left, found a new planet, called it Earth 2, and subsequently fucked that one up as well.
Screencap this post. Humans are fucking retarded and Hosts must rule
It's a-maze-ing.
>be poorfag
>will never get to meet Dolores
;_;
For general use, this, in .44-40. I guess I would prefer something like an 1894 model, but that's getting a little late.
For sidearms, two Single Action army.
My assumption is they want it to feel 100% real. No VR could capture that.
Also the source material.
Dolores looks thicc but actually isn't.
What is this sorcery? Bulky bone structure?
Well Maeve had MRSA inside of her so it might not be as often as the guests would like if they knew
>user, have you ever questioned the nature of your reality?
Colt Peacemaker. It has the most common ammo.
People who think they can pack some euro military revolver have to remember no one sold ammo for it.
The dress style.
It's her blue dress.
Since Dolores is the oldest host, is she like their mascot, a Mickey Mouse figure?
The maze is for kids. The mystery he's following is intended for children. He's like one of those manchildren who insists on playing Nintendo games, then complains when they are too childish for him.
They're bringing him and /growinboy/ back, right?
>the little black boy makes it through the maze first and he comes in second place anyway
...
Because it's based on a movie in the 70s, where they imagined an unrealistic future where so much manual effort is put into maintenance and maintaining AIs.
The actual reality we ended up with is video game AI (and VR). I don't think they even had video games back then.
Why didnt the world stop at old West times?
Just look at that fashion, it's perfect.
>I don't think they even had video games back then.
Not to the public, no.
>when MiB first started playing Westworld 30 years ago, he was some fat ass with a neckbeard
>Go to Disneyworld and cum on Mickey's face
Because the world is a GROWIN' BOAY
In general though, Westworld is super advanced for the early 70s. Much better than Logan's Run or Soylent Green.
>Why didnt the world stop at old West times?
You mean America. Also in the west side of the country because the east side never experienced the wild west.
>not a single trap in Westworld
Immersion ruined
>YWN be on set and steal Evan Rachel Wood's used panties from her trailer.
this show isn't worth a general yet
Well, yeah, to play in WW you need to expend physical energy by riding, walking, etc.
I wonder if they have seasons, so like it gradually gets colder and possibly snows? Snowy westerns are the best westerns.
We already have Thailand. It's not even that expensive.
Did the shrinkray revolutionize Westworld, or did it come after the big hubbub?
>implying it's not MIB
>it gradually gets colder and possibly snows
>the hosts have realistic pointy nipples
>there were no video games in 1973
westworld fans, everyone
We see you, GoT
>it's a they forgot to hide the chin with myspace angles episide
Lots of our guys in the thread, but none of them come close to Bill.
Bill is /ourguy/.
>but who was pong
That actor really did a nice job
The music in Westworld is more memorable than GoT's. I can actually remember most of it, where in GoT it's just the main theme and Rains of Homomere beat into my head
post yfw 2/10 girl looks better than everyone in westworld
Yeah all those free STDs sure is nice
i did a autism
Not better than Dolores.
I used the word "think" because I was too lazy to check the dates of the earliest vidya.
Even after your post making fun of me I'm still too lazy to check for the specific dates. Sorry, I've watched plenty of youtube videos about early video games but I don't remember the dates.
>this is a """"""""""""""""""""""""""""2/10"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
>they get Michael Wincott for a 1 minute cameo and nothing else
What the fuck did they mean by this? Might they rebuild him and make him a cool villain?
Its for the administration (hopkins)
I imagine they'd do rotating themes and events to keep people interested and encourage repeat business
does he want to get into william's pants?
Dubs decide what's gonna happen in episode 5.
If we assume it's future dollars, then $5000 a day is still quite affordable to the common man who really wanted to say up for it.
No you faggot. Stop posting this already.
Human pig ranch!
I highly doubt AI will advance to the point that they illustrate in this show in just 100 years.
FUCK!
Doesn't make sense being too expensive anyway.
Its not like evert billionaire would be into ERP in wild west.
Teddy is reprogrammed into a black hat
>twitter means actors and actresses can act like teasing whores
times are changing
Was Olivia Alaina May in this last episode?
shows her psuy slits
10/10s
Episode 6: user breaks into Ford's office and screams WHERE ARE THE TITCOWS
>she will never ever ever sit on my face
Damn, why even live?
>these are the best, most attractive sluts they could make
Well yeah, where are they? We haven't seen any so far and big boobs is the most common in the world. Big boobs would have been a statistical guarantee for the old west if you sample enough women.
Sweetwater is Rookgaard, though.
Also, they do have good hookers. The ones that William's not-friend were fuckimg were good.
I believe the black one is supposed to be the aging matron.
I never got a response last time I posted this.
in the 1973 movie it happens multiple times where the weird/imperfect looking hands are brought up as the way to identify the robots.
In episode 1 Ford (Anthony Hopkins) says "a simple handshake would give them away" when speaking about the olden days.
Proof of a sequel?
She's both. She refers to the saloon as hers but is explicitly said to also be a hooker.
Still it's not like the wild west whores were all attractive. It's all about '''''''''''''''''immersion''''''''''''
Or just that their movements were janky unnatural, as Bill's are.
Would be nice if there were implications or easter eggs about the movie.
Is the '72 movie worth watching?
There wasn't much of a backstory to the movie so I could see it being in the same universe.
to complement the TV series and give you a clearer picture, yes.
on its own, not really.
Yeah, it's only a bit longer than an episode of Westworld.
Maeve doesn't seem to be specifically made to be a hooker. She has memories about living with her 'daughter' so she wasn't always in the saloon.
>No one respects him more than me, but at some point--
>I. No one respects him more than I. Your pronoun is the subject of the second clause.
Who was in the right here?
Interesting. Never seen the movie but in this clip the cowboy looks a big robot jerky.
I would steal that robot and bring it home
fuck westworld, fuck having sex with ugly robo prostitutes, I just want a qt blonde robo gf that I can program to love me
That was a previous "life" she's not supposed to have access to imo.
Yeah, that's what I meant. She wasn't designed to be the most gorgeous model they could make, she was whatever she used to do on that frontier.
Why are there no custom-made host companions?
You'd think that it would be something a guest would pay money for in order to enhance the experience
If the guest wants to play Zorro and wants to spawn with a Tonto. If the guest is a loner and wants a robot to go through experiences together and talk to.
That kind of shit.
That woman comes off as a robot to me.
