Phantom is always a solid runner-up.
Saw something rotten recently, fairly amusing.

The 1964 original cast album is so good.

Ted Neeley is amazing. This part is powerful as fuck.

nothing, I just like JCSS more.

Literally white people: the thread

His song about seeing Jesus in his dreams is top audiokino

Came here just to agree with this

JCS is top comfy

Probably JCS. It's absolutely SHEEP.

>tfw they broadcast JCS on TV every Easter
>tfw watch it every year with your family growing up

Had no idea that JCSS was so liked on Sup Forums. In mainstream circles, it seems taste is geared more towards the historical/love musicals.

I've always really loved the music from Phantom of the Paradise.

Muppet treasure island

Tommy by The Who

I AM JAVERT

Iron man looks like that!

Live performance caught on film: Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary. It's perfect.

Movie:

Hair

Stage Fright (2014)

It's not perfect, but it combines my two favorite genre of movies: Slashers and musicals. The songs and singers are good too.

The album of course. No other version has that same level of intensity. I can't watch the movie because of how inferior the music is.

Good taste.

70s rock operas are usually pretty good.

I deleted the new version from my dvr as soon as it was over. Not even VJ's numerous upskirts and cleavage were enough for me to want to keep that pile of shit.

Fuck, I even enjoyed Grease: live, but the new RHPS was so fucking bad.

The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway as soon as Peter Gabriel and Jodorowsky make it.

Not trying to be a hipster, but I loved Carrie: the Musical and Lestat: the Musical (San Fran original version, not the completely different and aweful NY one.)

From a movie though... that would have to be Chicago. I know Gere can't sing, but he looked like he was having so much fun that it compensate.

Wesr End's Dracula (not the same as the Broadway Dracula)

Best portrayal of Mina ever:

Native American Mary is pretty hot.
