I've tried to give him a chance. I listened to his discography many times, but his music just hasn't aged well. It's so primitive, ugly and digital. The worst kind of 80s/90s disco nonsense, although I do appreciate some tracks. Jeanny for example has its merits. Although I do think it's too restrained, so much so that the parody version by Frank Zander has more edge, tonally:
