forgot I had it until the HD remaster was released and Steam gave me a free copy
does an amazing job of using everything to present the core concept of the game

...

BioShock is not forgotten it is a suggestion in my phone. Everyone knows BioShock

Shogo is a forgotten game.

>Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales
amazing sailing game
but was packaged with a copyright protection software that was literally a virus, it would cause any version of windows after XP to be unable to start, and cause XP and earlier version to CTD every 10min
luckily someone released a version on TPB with the copyright protection stripped out

>CTD
meant BSoD

No one remembers this either because you're all fucking newfags

...

>posting pre-historic CoD
fuck off casual

Myst 3: exile

sad we will never see the HD remake

Myth: The Fallen Lords
Myth II: Soulblighter

Majesty: Fantasy Kingdom Sim

This game right here.

The Saboteur

...

I really enjoyed the PSP version as well. Very underrated imo

> Not realizing I'm posting a game that came out 5 years before CoD existed
> Not realizing it was the first game that had alternate fire modes including some that could be combined in attack

Dunno what you're talking about

>Bioshock
What's another forgotten game? Sonic?

...

can't forget this gem

>not knowing what "pre-historic" means
>not realizing Unreal layed the groundwork for the downfall of modern gaming

Battletoads for the Wii? Never heard of this.
>>off to YouTube

SHAKE SHAKE!

I can’t be the only one who remembers this game. The gun details were fucking mesmerizing when this came first came out. Plus the sweet satisfaction of the “piiiink” sound you get when you land a stealthy headshot with a silenced glock

This little guy right here.

...

Nope. Great game. Ahead of its time.

got u covered

I would love to know how Unreal killed modern gaming before your fucking mom had you faggot.

Aside from CliffyB being a giant cunt.

Holy. Fucking. Shit. So much nostalgia. Thanks user for those feels. This game was so underrated.

nobody has forgotten bio-shock. It's literally brought up on gaming boards once a week, and I've yet to visit a con without a big daddy cosplay presence.

One of the most underrated N64 games.
The shake/throw mechanic was unusual, but once you got used to it, it was alot of fun.

trust me bruh, that game is all but forgotten

This game was amazing.

...

...

you guys aint shi if you never played this vidya

One of my faves. First game to really make me feel feels. Nobody I’ve talk to has even heard of it.

did it ever bother you that the females had shared the same voice actors as the male? i was all like muh dick n shii nigga

That game was fun as fuck

My childhood

Fuck you talkin about. They literally just added online back to that game like a month ago. Especially with new Battlefront everyones talking about this one. You fuckin delusional

OMG YESSSSS. It's still in my top 5 shooters of all time. Fucking outstanding.

...

...

Who remembers this shit?!?

THAT MISSION WAS SHIT. Great game though.

Wasn’t a huge fan of the sequel though. It was alright but definitely not the same

This game was the shit also 10/10 soundtrack

my nibba, this game was underrated hidden gem man

...

Ohhhhh, so many memories...

I've only played the second one. I thought it was pretty fun.

All oddworld games are amazing

Gg though.

>think just cause 2&3 but made by pandemic, the same studio that made the real star wars battlefront games

>Go into north Korea and blow shit up

>Call in airstrikes, want something carpet bombed? no prob

>kick ass faction system where you can play one country off of another

>Get halfway through the game and find out there's a second whole fucking map

>Awesome soundtrack youtu.be/szzZQwawELc

>cheat code to make you look like Indiana Jones

Punch kick chop

First one is much darker. Gameplay is kinda wonky, but the story is killer

bioshock is literally my favorite game the first two will always be on my top 3 favorite games

>not the original Goldeneye
Gid gud

Gonna have to try it out. Is it available for PC?

I fuck with you anun.
>chop chop kick

Except no one has forgotten about this..

No unfortunately

Unreal, mainly though the marketing of its engine, caused a boom in FPS
this cause the landscape of gaming to shift dramatically to FPS in '00s
because of this the AAAs focused on FPS
all RPGs became FPS with RPG elements
RTS even shifted to FPS, Warcraft being the shining example of this
then the FPS genre wasn't pulling in the sales bc it had flooded the market
so AAAs began the now industry standard of selling "expansion packs" which were really just selling a single game piecemeal, and micro-transactions that quickly became pay-for-prestige bullshit so that in order to play a game you had to buy the base game, then buy all expansions, then spend money every month to have equipment needed to be competitive

the Unreal engine was a massive paradigm shifter
but unfortunately that paradigm did not change for the benefit of players

Alright, I'll probably just emulate it then since the only consoles I own nowadays are my NES, SNES, and N64

Yeah but everyone knows the original game who isn’t a millennial shit fuck. Rogue was never a big hit, but it was fucking brutal for it’s time

Quite possibly the best Sonic Team game of that era, besides A2B.

Forgot image.

...

> Myth: TFL
mah nigga

Any Tony Hawk game before Project 8, Pro Skater 3 in specific.

They need to remake this and put it on PC. PS2 Emulator just don't do it justice.

THIS fucking game.

It was dark souls before dark souls was dark souls.

Bought it for $3 on Xbox 360 a few years back. Couldn’t believe it. I would have paid 60 just to relive it

Fuck P8. Thps 1 gave me the fuckin playlist of my life.

this
this
so much fucking this

>as im sl1ing ds1

...

This is basically why I've shifted more towards Nintendo in the last couple years. They don't really do that shit, and even when they do, it's usually worth the money.
I just wish their online play didn't suck so much.

Metal Arms

...

miss this game

Somwthing happened with the studio where they were never able to make a sequel. I think it was some legal b.s.
Totally awesome game nonetheless.

...

That’s very disappointing

...

...

...

I had much fun with my little bro playing this, had some good one liners if i recall correctly.

real shit, soundtracks to all tony hawk games (even bad ones) were bumpin

...

Raiders of the Lost Ark on the Atari
amazing story telling for a game from that era

>ITT: Good but forgotten games
>Forgotten

I just literally put the PS4 remastered version down 4 minutes ago.

...

loved it

It took me forever to figure out that you had to use 2 controllers to play that game.
We got it at a garage sale, and it didn't have the manual or anything, and I legitimately thought it was broken, lol.
Once I figured it out, though, it was a pretty alright game.
