Hole - Live Through This is a better album
*grabs shotgun*
*shoots OP*
Not even the best nirvana album, OP
Why did OP commit suicide
horrible post im absolutely appalled by this statement
It almost makes the ascendancy of alt-rock in popular culture worth it. Almost.
>OP has never heard this.
>i just heard this obscure album 3 hours ago and want to tell everyone about it
Nah, just making the point that it's one album of many that is better than Le In The Uterus.
ok i respect your opinion and all but its really stupid
underrated
Bleach and Incesticide are both better.
Incesticide I can accept but bleach is not as good as in utero
lmao nice edgy 13 year old opinion
>re-releases, covers better than raw emotion before committing sudoku
lmao
I don't understand, I didn't like any of the songs on In Utero besides "Milk It" and "Radio Friendly Unit Shifter."
this amount of patrician is blinding. i mean just look how angered the peasants are
I find musically and lyrically its a better, more mature album than bleach. In utero is a more honest work than bleach. Bleach was made and catered to the grunge scene. Cobain didnt find it represented what he really wanted to make
yasss queen (unironically)
youtube.com
Or at the time he could've been really inspired by other artists in the grunge scene.
This pre-bleach Nirvana bootleg album is the peak of heavy music and you haven't heard Nirvana's best music unless you've bought one of the 500 of these in existance
Cobain even said it himself. He felt pressured to make music to fit in the grunge scene by sub pop and his contempories
>actually thinks only 450 copies exist
You got played, mang
I only paid 15$
it sells for less than $20 at most shops silly
Where did i mention the cost of the record?
At the time they sucked. Mudhoney which is the one of the only surviving grunge bands left said they sucked the first time they saw them. So of course they would try to "fit in." So congratulations Sherlock how long did it take for you to figure that one out?
you only get played if it's price is actually increased from it "exclusivity"
15 is the average for most new records, and even way below average for every Nirvana release
best material is the endino demo lads
youtube.com
everyone said they sucked in the 80's because kurt was just chugging in C standard at the height of autism metal
t. guy who knows metal guys from the late 80s
OLDER THAN YOUR GOD
Yeah and bleach fucking reflects that faggot. It is their worst album because Cobain was trying to copy the melvins and other grunge bands instead of being himself which he does on nevermind and on In utero.
Bleach is their best album, but I can only listen to it on cassette or else it sounds to hi fi
You obviously don't know what you're talking about and are pretending to. The only song that's like this he made is "Hairspray Queen" and maybe an Immigrant Song cover. The real reason they sucked early on is because their drummer sucked before they got Channing, their live performances sucked ass, and the overall song writing. The riffs were weak and the structure was just weird. Next time do your homework and don't just say random shit to desperately defend your album.
t. has never listened to the bootleg of their 1st show
Weird, I was just thinking lately that In Utero is my least favorite Nirvana album, dark, slow, heroine addled. It seems boring AF to me these days. It depends what your current feeling and taste is I guess. I listened to Nirvana so much, I couldn't care less to listen to it lately. To me the best stuff out there is stuff no one has heard of, because I'm sick of all the mainstream done to death music, overplayed again and again. You could only like mainstream if you are a kid just discovering a lot of the music out there. Once you've gotten through all the "greats" and are bored of it, your music taste is going to get pretty weird.
I was talking more about early 1988 right before they got Channing.
Bleach is a great album even fantastic considering it's a debut. It was very well received and gained attention on college radio
It's funny you say that because one of the songs on In Utero has the riff from a Melvins song in it.
How is it better In utero? His riffs were boring compared to other bands at the time. I'll give this to you blew, about girl, floyd the barber, school, paper cuts nd negative creep are good songs. The rest is shit
this better be a shitpost
Dave Grohl strikes again!
I agree with you that its a good album. But it is not nirvana's best.
Really which song? And Half of bleach screams thats its trying to be as good as the melvins
Listen to Love Buzz and tell me that isn't hands down the best grunge guitar solo
In Utero is a good album, but every song on Bleach sounds unique and good (except Sifting) imo
Also Bleach is the only Nirvana album to feature a good album cover that isn't corny even if it's a greyscale band pic, and album art is very important to me in order to 'feel' the album
Milk It is literally a Melvins riff
>Listen to Love Buzz and tell me that isn't hands down the best grunge guitar solo
I mean I like bleach too but the solo in "Them Bones" has got to be the best grunge solo, and I don't even like Alice in Chains.
Love Buzz is a cover of a 60's song
Love buzz is a fucking cover song man. And how the fuck is every song unique? Its basically the same fucking tone after negative creep.
Also > album art is very important to me in order to 'feel' the album
Thats such a fucking dumb thing to judge music on .
Didnt know that. Well thats a shame I really liked that song
the solo definitely isnt a cover, it being a cover doesn't mean its bad
also every song has good, memorable riffs up until after Mr. Mustache
I don't know what a shit post is, but it's the truth you've yet to discover my BOY.
She was a pretty damn good singer for a crazy heroin whore.
In order of quality:
Unplugged
Nevermind
Bleach
Incesticide
Muddy Banks
In Utero
In Utero is 80% unlistenable. Lots of shitty guitar and anguished screaming, with the occasional decent riff or drum groove. Maybe it's like artistic or some shit, but it's not actually nice to listen to. There's like 3 decent songs.
