Last night we saw Elon Musk upload a picture of a rocket launch with the caption "Of Course I Still Love You" and we all thought it would make a cool album, so we made a cover out of it and chose song titles. This thread is to make the songs.
One meme arrow is claimed Two meme arrows is delivered

Also from the last thread Howitzer was just claimed and delivered so that's off too.
Evan Walker
I'm actually excited for this. Death of Pablo was actually fucking awesome, and this has a great aethetic.
Carter Howard
14 tracks is too much t b h
Nathaniel Davis
> more than 9 tracks
nope
Bentley Walker
It was originally 13 but someone really wanted their title in so they added another one. Usually albums have about like 12 tracks so it's kinda like some bonus material.
John Reyes
This isn't all set in stone so feedback is good, we can change things.
Camden Campbell
I'm pissed off that I wasn't there when they made the track titles but this is an interesting concept, 100% behind it
Feel free to say any titles we can swap out things.
Adam Sanders
Apollo 69 / Empty Love on Neptune better be the best song on the album
Andrew Evans
I'm fine with this, I like to come up with them in the spot while verybody else is doing it
Jack Lopez
>D'anjou in Visa
D'anjou is a type of European pear and in visa means the ability to leave or enter places so this song better have the aesthetic of a traveling pear through space.
Camden Gonzalez
>no fuck drumpf and fuck white people (pickle rick remix) >no discourse on the diary of anne frank >no i can smell your musk
Ryder Flores
Those can be the B Sides we make afterwards with this cover
Easton Phillips
I have a /r/equest. Please use the sound clip "Space. The Final Frontier." from star trek in one of the songs.
Aaron Baker
too good of a cover to be wasted on shitty tracks with picle rick remixes
Julian Nguyen
>look it up >it's real Whatever that means, it is still a really cool sounding title track
Chase King
what about this one then
Elijah Mitchell
>Nothing Around Stays Around increase the volume of the vocals
also post full lyrics
Gabriel Thompson
So how are we displaying it? A Bandcamp? Should we get the Whole Damn Town to put it on his?
Eli Cruz
>vocaroo.com/i/s03Xc31LqSjP i really liked it, the voice was great all that kinda ruined it for me was the ending part where the strumming was too agressive and needed more rhythm
Aaron Cruz
I had the same thoughts about both of those actually, I hope the creators of those tracks are in here
Cameron Phillips
give me some fucking lyrics
i'll sing a song for you fucks
Dominic Jackson
>epic collab of Eminem and Pickle Rick
John Nguyen
Any feedback?
Alexander Wright
Some instrumentals in the beginning seem to clash together too much and throughout sound kinda sloppy, guitar is too quiet, voice is too loud and sounds too close to the mic.
Jack Ross
yeah, on every track lol get it cause its shoegaze
Nathan King
Any specific track you'd want lyrics for?
Carter Hall
I guess What Tomorrow Brings
Austin Gray
When this is done we gon send it to the main man himself, right?
Julian Lopez
very well done
Logan White
Of course
Wyatt Taylor
Update the op with claims
Camden Smith

Already-made tracks can be redone and revised with approval from the creators, or by the creators themselves, based on feedback
Gabriel Thompson
The voice is really an error in the mixing, for some reason I inverted a few digits and it ended up super high. Gonna re-record the bassline and the guitars.
Dominic Clark
Should we mark What Tomorrow Brings as claimed if someone wants to make lyrics for
Isaac Russell
bumpin in this legendary thread. But It will only become legendary if the songs are good so I wish it luck.
Eli Sanders
Claiming 7
Nolan Torres

Matthew Collins
Once this is done we should get mixanon in here to master it or something.
Cooper Wright
Definitely, I want this to be more than those "Made in One Day" shitpost albums that Sup Forums usually makes.
Anthony Morales
Same man. If no one else can, ill master it
Christian Butler
Still waiting on them What Tomorrow Brings.
Bentley Price
let's send it to albini
Zachary Ramirez
lyrics*
Hudson Watson
Did anyone say they were making them? I think user just asked what song you would want lyrics for.
Logan Flores
Number 7 track here wanted a sorta interlude not final recording but hows this fit?
>vocaroo.com/i/s1Z1k2XCRFXv This is smooth as hell, if it didn't have the static and was crisper I'd bump that.
Chase Hughes
bumpin
Bentley Nelson
I Wished For More is almost done, one sec..
Zachary Allen
Pretty dang good.
Evan Brooks
making progress on track 11
Owen Hill
Pretty excited to hear this one, I love the title.
Henry Peterson
Title track guy here. Yeah the end was kinda too aggressive, although I wrote and recorded the song on an iPhone in like 30 mins so it's what it is sadly, kinda went for a Love Reign O'er Me influence on the end so it's a bit polarizing, if the OP wants to edit it out and loop the last bit of the plucking go ahead Huehuehue
Hi there, guy who did Nothing Around Stays Around... I did a longer, slightly better quailty and certianly more whiny version which is longer and with reworked lyrics: clyp.it/uroswakx
Aiden Miller
Personally I think that it ending with a Love Reign O'er Me influence is fantastic, fits the whole thing super well.
Adrian Russell
I don't think we actually have a designated OP? I think it's just anons posting songs and updating the claimed chart.
Christopher Jackson
>clyp.it/uroswakx Really great, catches the mood the album gives off, but now the vocals are a little too quiet? I may be nitpicking but we will see what others say.
Gavin Thompson
Yeah, sorry, i thought I was louder than I was... Feel free to pick which ever version is better (or not pick one at all)
William Reyes
can I contribute music to this? I'd like to attempt a track
Hudson Gray
yeah man, it's free picking for anyone, claim any track that isn't already made.
This is really good, I had to flip the lyrics over due to the stupid thing with phone pics, but the lyrics are very nice also, and a bonus thing I noticed, Nothing Around Stays Around can be worded as NASA and I thought that was funny.
Chase Garcia
>Nothing Around Stays Around can be worded as NASA amazing
Juan Cruz
1. Japanese Drop Down Hills 2. Cape Canaveral 3. What Tomorrow Brings >4. I Wished for More 5. Falcon Heavy / Artemis . Nothing Around Stays Around . Landfall . Howitzer 9. Apollo 69 / Empty Love on Neptune 10. Where Does Space End >11. They Come Past the Stratosphere 12. D'anjou in Visa 13. Sideways On . Of Course I Still Love You
John Bell
Holy shit hadn't even noticed that Kudos to whoever wrote that title clever user
William Walker
Guy who made Howitzer here, redid the track: vocaroo.com/i/s1MJfdAHWrRK It's kind of the "not-shoegaze" track of the album since I've yet to bring my equipment to where I am since I just moved. That said I did manage to get some spacey synths to try and make up for it.
Do you guys want the lyrics?
Brody Johnson
Holy crap, thanks for using my genre ideas for this! And also, what songs should be the "commercial" singles, if this were an actual album?
Of Course I Still Love You was built as a refit of the Marmac 304 barge. It is home ported in Florida at Port Canaveral since December 2015, after being ported for a year at the Port of Jacksonville during most of 2015.
i like better the "Just Read the Instructions (Marmac 300) name"
Ryan Brooks
Better than the last one, are you going to make a new track when the equiptment comes? I am thinking this is a multi-day project.
>not having a track title be Just Read The Instructions
Jaxson Barnes
Just Read the Instructors is gonna be our sequel album
Aiden Phillips
maybe the title of the EP? or as second album? can't let that name be wasted away honestly
Benjamin Perez
>want to contribute but only have a bass guitar Maybe I can put on obnoxious amounts of distortion and call it a day
Adrian Richardson
>vocaroo.com/i/s1MJfdAHWrRK lyrics please if you wouldn't mind, very interested reminds me of the 'how was I supposed to know' bit in Car Seat Headrest's 'The Ballad of Costa Concordia', sort of train of thought words
Nathan Adams
This but sincerely
Owen Kelly
Just Read The Instruction is the companion album with the track titles that dubs got:
>1: Falcon Heavy >2: Howitzer >3: Arsenal >4: Fuck Drumpf and Fuck White People (Pickle Rick Remix) >5: I Can Smell Your Musk >6: A Discourse on the Diary of Anne Frank >7: Nothing Around Stays Around >8: Rolling for a Title Track >9: Apollo 69 (Brought to You By Brazzers) >10: haha wow lol >10: The fact that so many books still name the Beatles as "the greatest or most significant or most influential" rock band ever only tells you how far rock music still is from becoming a serious art. Jazz critics have long recognized that the greatest jazz musicians of all times are Duke Ellington and John Coltrane, who were not the most famous or richest or best sellers of their times, let alone of all times. Classical critics rank the highly controversial Beethoven over classical musicians who were highly popular in courts around Europe. Rock critics are still blinded by commercial success. The Beatles sold more than anyone else (not true, by the way), therefore they must have been the greatest. Jazz critics grow up listening to a lot of jazz music of the past, classical critics grow up listening to a lot of classical music of the past. Rock critics are often totally ignorant of the rock music of the past, they barely know the best sellers. No wonder they will think that the Beatles did anything worthy of being saved. >11: Born under punches (tribute to John Lennons wife) >12: Celestial Menace >13: Of Course I Still Love You
Cooper Rivera
You can collab with another user and overlay bass over their track
Josiah White
these titles are stupid
Asher Johnson
It's mostly joking, if you weren't here for the last thread, tracks were decided with dubs and this is what we ended up with, but one user salvaged together the good titles and made the OP tracklisting.
Samuel Hernandez
I hate to say this, but I'd have to wait around one year to pick my equipment up. I moved to the US for college and my stuff is still at home, and I'm poor as hell. Synths were from my PC, bass is this really cheap one I found in a yard sale that got repaired afterward (it's kinda old but damn if I don't love it) and the guitar is my roommates' guitar.
I stood there and watched you go as the smokestacks mirrored my vision as the smell of fuel filled my nose as I felt the sky turning crimson as I felt the lights go out and there was nothing I could know
And I saw you in every light I came across and in every darkness I went by and in every night and day and time itself shifted from seconds to minutes to hours to days to weeks to months
and I lost track of where I was and track of who I was and whether I'm supposed to exist so I look at the sky again and it's clothed in black and it's dressed in lights
the smell of the combustion still linger on the fire and warmth still lingers on the proximity still lingers on the intensity still lingers on on the verge of exploding and firing again into the sky
and we lose track of where we're going next and where you're going next and where I'm going next and we cross into the light-filled darkness where we don't know the time where we don't know anything at all
and the noise still lingers on and I no longer understand it as it burns away out of sight it burns away out of mind and the howitzer still fires but you're no shell
Really my first time writing lyrics, I think it worked out.
Michael Clark
requesting that we use the original photo musk posted for the cover >captcha was "may bank 6500"
Eli Allen
Yeah I saw it, op's tracklist is better than this memery.
Charles Rogers
Ah that sucks man, maybe the mixer can vamp up your song then, still fell free to make any adjustments if you want.
Christopher Bennett
hey fuck you discourse on the diary of anne frank is the best musk song
Dominic Davis
Maybe I'll do that
A-anyone want a bass?
Kayden Russell
Requesting that Apollo 69 / Empty Love On Neptune is a smooth jazz song you'd have sex to
I dunno man, a lot of people like the edit
Carter Baker
nah op picture looks cooler
Nolan Wright
keep the edit
Camden Wilson
Honestly I think bassgaze could be insanely good. Get a fuzz pedal, a reverb pedal and a distortion pedal and wire it in that order, and try to see how it sounds.
Nathan Brooks
track 11 is in b minor at 93 bpm. if you wanna lay down something ill try and work it in
Brandon Bailey
I just realized Empty Love on Neptune spells ELON
Caleb Barnes
NASA AND ELON THESE HIDDEN WORDS KEEP ON COMING
Isaiah Jackson
All I have is a distortion pedal and phone to record with lol. I guess I can try something solo with that setup, but I don't know what to expect I'll be home in an hour, I can try something then unless you don't want to wait that long
