BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP

Solid 7

about halfway through - happy birthday, johnny is derailing it a bit for me but the other tracks havee been very solid so far

*farts

Pills to wake, pills to sleep
Pills, pills, pills every day of the week
Pills to walk, pills to think
Pills, pills, pills for the family
Pills to grow, pills to shrink
Pills, pills, pills and a good stiff drink
Pills to fuck, pills to eat
Pills, pills, pills down the kitchen sink

BOYS

it's ok, like it has some good moments, and it's not as bad as I thought. But I'm being honest, there is this kind of lingering feeling where there will be no moments like Digital Witness or Surgeon or Lips are Red where I'd return to this album.

Halfway through and the only tracks that have really stood out to me were Hang On Me, Sugarboy and Savior. I don't mind the poppy production, but the songwriting seems to have declined a bit. The chorus of Pills is fucking atrocious and sounds like nursery rhyme shit.

No one cares, post more photos. That's all these threads are good for.

To be fair that is one nice ass on the cover

Pills is fun as fuck, what are you doing my man

3/5

You HATE Young Lover

Does anyone else think "Your the only mother fucker in the city" line on New York kinda cringe. Also I've heard this chorus before somewhere else

Best songs are Sugarboy, HBD Johnny, and Slow Disco

I hated Pills at first too

Any decent alternate artwork for masseduction?

Not really feeling the official art.

sounding like a shittier version of her self titled album

Strange Mercy?

what's up with the generic drum machines?

It's kitsch so it's good

try finding this on it's own

had this on hand for a week or so

Nice, that works really well. Thanks m8

9.5/10

Blown away desu

Nice non-opinion idiot

Where were you when Annie won?

bleachers guy who does lordes shit

also why i dont really like her music

i'm so sick of mainstream pop albums with slightly weird production

easily her worst album

worst album. boring ballads and quirky farty drum machine samey tracks.

smoking section was 9/10

Won what? Race to the bottom?

It was amazing.

it's pretty boring so far. definitely her most poppy release

it's what Everything Now was supposed to be (in a way, and it's other things besides that) but still a 7/10 at best, very generous 8/10

the cover represents Annie's head disappearing up her ass

Everything Now is like a 9/10; got misunderstood hard just like TLOP. I feel bad for the people that missed the boat on both

Can this cretin stop shoehorning her mombutt into everything?

It's not edgy, creative or sexy. You're just making people uncomfortable.

it's not hers

I don't think I'd go as far as calling EN 9/10, but definitely a lot of people aren't giving it enough credit. The concept totally succeeds but the music can't carry it for me like it does on TLOP

Metascore 90/100

I'm disappointed, thought it would be better.

Melodrama is way better.

...

Nice bump

Antonoff is a fucking hack

Just finished it. I'd say I'm at a 6/10 after the first listen, I feel like some tracks might grow on me I really liked "Hang on Me" and "Happy Birthday Johnny". There's some good songs on here but they don't seem to stand out a whole lot. It kind feels like self titled, but without the "punch"

Ass

It's not her ass dumbfuck.

So fucking good. Definitely my favorite track.

I haven't been able to sit down and listen to full album yet, but I have heard the 3 singles and a few other songs. So far

Good: Los Ageless,Pills,Slow Disco,Fear the Future
Meh:Smoking Section,Young Lover
Bad:Sugarboy, New York, Dancing with a Ghost

Have not heard Hang on Me, Savior, or HBD Johnny.

Seems similar to her last album, the self titled one. Some very good highpoint songs, a few meh's, and a few bads. I would have given self titled like a 7.5/10 maybe so this is probably similar.

I was a bit hyped about this, but the album cover is really putting me off

Yeah, "motherfucker" is extremely overused. It's pretty uncreative, and it doesn't really seem like something a white woman would say.

Why didn't she just show her asshole

Bits of Happy birthday, Johnny unironically reminds me of this;

Ok I know this is a meme but.. I actually like this song.

Halfway through it currently, haven't liked any of the songs as much as the singles so far.

young lover slippity slaps

this is the first St. Vincent album that I haven't liked
