Hell yeah. Was going to complain about that bass drum sound at first but 1) it fits here and 2) my headphones are shit

+mbv, nmh, bjork
+suicide, metz, big black
hi pop

Listening to this Pigs album. Immediately has the same problem as most modern noise rock in that it just sounds like the shit from the 80s but poppier and unoriginal.
Kate Bush and Lush are great, and I'm sure the new St. Vincent is too

The rest sucks
+++Melt-Banana, Big Black +NIN, College Dropout, Tyler, Talking Heads, Strawberry Jam, Tom Tom Club, TVU, Midori, Silver Apples, ~Isn't Anything, Kid A, Metz, -TLOP

Have you heard the new Grave Pleasures? Better than their last, more along the lines of Beastmilk.

Are you into Pagan Altar at all?

+OtWatM, chelsea wolfe, hagalaz' runedance

kiss the anus of a black cat - hewers of wood and drawers of water

+chelsea wolfe, GY!BE
how many releases from latitudes have you heard? you should check out the one chelsea wolfe did, imo it's one of her better releases.

i didn't even know what "latitudes" was. i discovered that album during my Phil completionist phase and that ended up being one of my favorite releases of his.

i gotta listen to that iglooghost album
and +

Its a label that was set up to replicate peel sessions, so everything is recorded and mixed in one day. Its put out some really interesting stuff including dalek's best album

Michal Turtle - Are You Psychic?

Love, Claire - s/t

Yo not him but listen to Trick

The Stickmen - Insatiable

Is Safe as Milk worth a listen if I wasn't too fond of Trout Mask?
Is Ooz actually good?

Ratking - So It Goes
Swans - Soundtracks for the Blind

+Oh Sees

+Pentagram

+Budgie, Scorpions

+Gun Club, Judas Priest

+Fiona Apple, Black Flag, Ween

not him but yes, Safe as Milk is very far removed from TMR, it has a very 60s psych pop sound to it

also try lick my decals off baby if you couldn't get into TMR, it's basically the tmr style but tighter, better produced, and shorter
