Just listen to albums completely unlike the ones in your chart from genres you haven't explored. Getting recs from your chart won't be that useful because you simply haven't explored enough.

thanks, any suggestions for where to start?

Good taste guy

I've never heard of Chinese Football? What bands would you compare them to?

I mean, Sup Forumscore is a pretty good place to start if you haven't checked it out already
>In The Court of The Crimson King
>OK Computer
>Velvet Underground and Nico
>Loveless
>Remain in Light
>Lift Yr. Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven!
>Pink Moon

Those albums are all critically acclaimed and considered classics yet none sound similar to any of the others. It's a pretty good scope of rock and pop to start.

Go through Sup Forumscore and the RYM top of all time lists, just remember to branch out afterwards though!

What's the album on the far right above Closer?

will do, thanks

ill check em out

they call me cuban pete

They're pretty similar to American Football (of course), TTNG, Cap'n Jazz, and any other mathy twinkly emo bands. I'm of the opinion they're by far the best band in that niche, so if you're into that kind of music (or even if you're not) you should check them out!

Thank u for the recs. I already love Leaving, so I'm excited to check out the other album u rec'd. I also saved yr chart to listen to the albums I haven't heard already from it. I noticed some slowcore on there, and on the off-chance you haven't heard any Red House Painters/Sun Kil Moon stuff yet, I'd highly recommend them. Also Rock Bottom by Robert Wyatt is really great and might be in your interests.
