I don't know which I am. Vlaams Belang is basically over. If Tom Van Grieken was smart he would've started a new party without all that history. I'm more a fan of Marie Le Pen to be honest.
I will probably vote for N-VA, because that just the more realistic option. If Vlaams Belang gains movement again (and it does), it's likely we get another leftist government next elections.
But is N-VA rightwing enough for me? No. It's a centre government, not centre-right. Ideologically I would vote for Vlaams Belang.

It's a shame and that is why I'm more in favour of new right wing party - a more intelligent and strategic one- than voting for a party that will never win.
You have to think about it like this: when Vlaams Belang was at their highest and gained support of a lot of the Flemish people, what happened?

If PS was in power the refugees in Belgium would've tripled. If N-VA would've lost 5% to Vlaams Belang, we now would've have three times as many refugees. That's a fact.

Yes, political allies, in a sense that they want less Europe, are nationalistic and are in favour of assimilation. But on other matters they're really different. The rethoric against Islam is softer with FN and much stronger with parties like Vlaams Belang and PVV. Economically FN and Vlaams Belang are more socialist than PVV. They're are many differences.
Vlaams Belang just isn't a strong intelligent party though. I read the other day about Flemish farmers needing even more government subsidizing. Come on.
