Hey Sup Forums what would be the best bass amp to get?

I'm getting $200 next week what would be the best bass amp stack in my price range?

noooooo no no, no stacks, not half, not full, not nothing for 200 bucks. you should be looking for a combo amp like a fender rumble in that range.

I had an acoustic 260, I was really happy with the volume it had. Great sound for 200 bucks as well

i would only go for a bargain stack like that if you play live and need that power to be heard, otherwise i think a combo amp (at least in this range) would serve you much better, especially for more variety of sounds you can get out of it.

yeah, I can play well. I always use my fingers, practice my timing, passed an audition for the highschool i'm going to currentlyand I can read sheet music.

I have two of those straps, one on a Jaguar and one on a Strat. They work pretty well. The only thing I don't like about it is that I'm 6'2" and on the lowest adjustment it sits a couple of inches higher than I'd like.

I'm 5,7-5,9 i think

You'll have room to adjust it however you want. They also have wider ones and padded ones. I just use the 2.5" unpadded one, but your bass weighs more than my guitars.

I've got use to the weight so it feels light to me

I forgot to mention I'm learning the upright in school and probably gonna get one for christmas

Even the 2.5 inch one will distribute weight better than that gay flag one. I also like leather straps better than textile but that's a personal preference.

Have you thought about not getting an amp at all? You could just get an audio interface, download some software pedals on your computer and basically use your computer as an amp.
There are a bunch of upsides to recording/playing this way.
