Bob Ross Marathon stream threads (Brought to you by Twitch as the OP in the last thread said ) are allowed to have multiple threads. One thread right after the other.
The last time Twitch had a Bob Marathon we had over 100 threads which lasted over a full week. Not one thread was deleted by mods or janitors.
Nothing against Bob Ross, but yeah someones totally not getting payed to turn a blind eye to these Never Ending Bob Ross Stream threads which break the rules just like every other stream thread does..

From what I understand all stream threads are against the rules even if the link isn't directly posted in the OP or within the thread.
But hey have fun. I love stream threads. Sadly they just don't seem to last very long on this site. If you've found a way around the rule that keeps your type of stream threads up more power to you. Bob Ross is part of my childhood, and like I said I have nothing against the dude or the idea of live streams threads in general.

I've always liked drawing etc and I've always been pretty good at it. Bob made painting look pretty easy, even though I always thought his paintings look kind of unimpressive once you are over the tricks he uses to create the illusion of detail. Tried some of his tricks, got bored of how limited his technique is, but kept painting oil, but in a more classical manner (usually portraits). So, he inspired me to explore the medium, but he absolutely did not inspire my technique or my topics. I still watch his videos to relax sometimes though. He is a great human and it makes me incredibly sad how shitty his life turned out. Can't think of anyone who deserves it less.

You have to keep in mind that the paintings he did on the show had to be done within 28 minutes, the shit he made for his hour long specials and in his free time are a lot more impressive. Even still it's impressive how fast how did all that even within the show's time restraint.

Honestly, none of his paintings strike me even remotely impressive. He was a good man and I think he gave a lot to many people, but not really an outstanding painter. All of his stuff is just crawling in his comfort zone, one painting looks exactly like the next one. You can hardly call it painting really.
